The "wind" song by Akeboshi is in 5/4 ? I mean the drums sound like they are very "Bossa Nova ish "? That's the closest I came to realising about that song 😅😅. What do you think folks?

I’m a tyro drummer (at 78, yes) and I don’t know know why I’m drawn to 5/4, maybe it’s years of hearing Take 5 (and there’s the answer to the title of this number). I’ll be incorporating this odd time into my learning. Thanks for your vids, I’ve been subscribed for a while and think your erudite explainers are um, groovy✌️🌻

Karen is a monster on the track, that’s the live video but definitely check out the album version for highest quality

Im a basic bro and just do straight quarters, if its over 4, or straight 8ths, if its over 8, and came up with a beat where snare is on 3 and 5
