Adolf Hitler's rise to power, the institutionalization of discrimination with the Nuremberg "Race Laws" in 1935, the orchestrated violence of the November 9 pogroms in 1938, the occupation of Eastern European territories in World War II and the chilling directives of the Wannsee Conference in 1942, each event deepened the persecution of Jews. Through archival footage and expert analysis we explore the historical context of this dark chapter in German history.
