I think you did the right thing, the car dealerships are also adding in the commission the sales person makes. I love the $5 Friday but also the fact that I am not the only one who does homework before going to the dealership.
We get wiser as we age. I know more now about buying a car now than when I was younger. I always took my mother with me when I bought a car. I will be with my kids when they buy one too because I have better credit. EXCELLENT credit.
I feel you on the car. I was in my twenties and was looking at a car and my dad had already told me what to expect. The guy at the car dealership seen a young woman and saw Dollar signs but it didn't work. Let's just say I told him he was a d... I also love seeing how thin the binders are after a condensing KNOWING that they will fill up again! 😅 Absolutely do not settle for less than you want in getting a vehicle. Those interest rates will kill you financially if you don’t get a good one! 10% is ridiculous! ❤❤❤

You should have asked if law-enforcement gets a discount or if the military gets a discount sounds like you did a great job. I can only imagine the look on that kids face 😂😂😂 or you did one better or instead of him, going back and talking to finance you should’ve asked for why can’t I go back there and talk to them and save him some running time I know you couldn’t put it would’ve been funny to ask😂😂😂 I love the idea of you selling those envelopes in your shop because where I live, I cannot find them it’s really strange the dollar tree does not seem to have any of them. I hate going to buy a vehicle because of the game that want to play,I have walked out on so many and they followed me to the car saying we can get you in that vehicle and I say no you wont,I'm taking my money to somebody who actually wants to sell a vehicle.Loved the video ❤

Its never too late to save for a new car. You should have a sinking envelope for a car, for next time. And yes id love to buy a folder. Its bigger than mine. Depending on how much you charge, i can get 6 for 14 bucks i think. But i don't need 6.
I absolutely agree with you about the whole car buying experience. In my experience, car salesman the super shady. I know not all are, but all i have dealt with have been. I am driving a 2011 cheap brand car and my hubby is driving a 2000 Silverado...i know that vehicle shopping is in our future and I'm absolutely dreading it just because i dont want to deal with the salesmen. Knowing im about to be having a new massive bill is bad enough, dealing with shady salesmen just adds an extra cringe factor to the whole ordeal.

That's what I said. What would you say if your son needed a car. The dealerships are horrible. It got to the point I would just call ahead and try that way when my husband wanted a new car. They make you so uncomfortable leaving you to sit there while they go run back and forth to the "boss"
Love watching the bill condensing videos because it’s satisfying to see the binders go from not closing to being as thin as possible and still have the same amount of money in them. Yes I would buy the Tiffany blue envelope if you have them. I can’t seem to find the button snap ones and I don’t like the zipper ones I have found. Car dealerships are the absolute worse. I swear they believe women have no brains and don’t know to math. I absolutely loathe -LOATHE- going to look at cars. However, I do have a sinking fund for a new car. Mine is a 2017 so for the moment I am good but I know that I will have to buy a new one in a couple years. It already has over 150,000 miles on it because of the distance I was driving to work. But it’s been a great car. I will probably take the same route you are taking and just find out what kind of loan and interest rate I can get thru my credit union or bank. I HATE car shopping and the feeling they give especially to women. Ugh! So slimey. I always go in with a check from a lender I picked with the interest rate I want. Happy you stuck to your guns!
