At 53, I've been to 100s of concerts in the 80s and 90s. By far, FFD puts on the best show of any, and I have seen alot. Fuk yeah!!!

Like others have said, you hit on so many issues, addiction, depression, ect. It's the emotion and anger that really sends it home. I battled addiction for 12 years. I wasted money time and love all for the drugs. Each time the binge was over, I was so pissed at myself, but the next day, it would start all over again. It took hitting rock bottom and finding someone I loved more than the drugs and who loved me and was willing to be by my side through the end. This December will be 22 years sober and still in love. Hearing your music reminds me of those days and that others are currently struggling. You care through your music and that knowing that, there's hope for others that they can get back to living a life again. So, thank you and keep Rockin, brother.

Thank you FFDP for being there for me and and all your fans battling life, drugs, alcohol, mental illness etc. I battled alcohol addiction for seven years and listening to y'all and other bands reminded me that I'm not alone. I hit my bottom eventually and got sober and saved my marriage. I still listen to y'all everyday in my car with the stereo on full blast rocking out. I want to thank y'all and all other metal bands that touch on 'taboo' topics that society don't want to address. I wish to someday see y'all in concert and even though we never met you've touched my heart and helped me be happy to know I'm not alone. Keep on rocking FFDP! 🤘👊

I find this Song Very Strong and Very Powerful!!

Right after "Diary Of A Deadman", this is my favourite song from this album. Especially with Maria Brink - the perfect choice of singer in terms of fitting into the group's style. Even though Five Finger Death Punch is not among my top favourite bands, I regularly feel an urgent need to refresh it from time to time. Therefore, a certain reflection occurred to me: Well, I ALWAYS start with the debut album, which plays from the first to the last note. (And even though I know each of these notes by heart, I never feel bored and I'm always surprised that the whole album went by SO QUICKLY) When listening to subsequent albums it usually happens that I skip some of the songs. From my point of view, the first album is unquestionably and undoubtedly the best. The most interesting thing is that if someone asked me: "Why?" I wouldn't find the answer. The question is: Was "The Way Of The Fist" really that good? A long time ago I read somewhere about a theory that if a certain piece of music suits someone's taste, the one they heard FIRST will always be considered the BEST ALBUM. If someone would like to write something about this and perhaps enlighten me, I would die a little wiser. On the other hand: "It's ALL music and ONLY music". We all have much bigger and more important problems on our shoulders. Although it often intrigues me: Why do I get goosebumps from sounds, why not images, for example? Yes, there are certain painters whom I appreciate and remember (e.g. Salvador Dali and Zdzisław Beksiński), but none of the paintings ever has the slightest chance of giving me impressions even remotely close to those that music can evoke in me. But for some people it's the other way around! What is the mechanism of this and where does it begin? You can go further, of course: "If it's music, why this particular one and not another one?" I sometimes have questions like this. Another thing is that when I matured a bit (I hope), I generally tried to ignore them. One day it occurred to me that while I was thinking about this - somewhere in the world there were hundreds of thousands of mothers wondering how to feed their children. (this is an optimistic version assuming that these children have not yet ...died ...from hunger ...from disease ...or even from gun bullets) To sum up: If anyone would like to refer in any way to my "musical dilemmas" - I would be very pleased. If not - nothing will happen either. I wish everyone a truly positive 2024 year.
