You don't understand the song then 🤦♂️. This song has nothing to do with Goblin Slayer, it's literally about the opposite. It's about people being abandonned and ignored by society despite the work they've done for their nation, especially in the case of veterans becoming homeless in the US. Goblin slayer is surrounded by friends at the guild and is trusted by the high priestess. He also gets rewarded for his work after every quest.
Tbh I prefer subtle cues to flashy demonstrations of power 🤷♂️. The red glow of Goblin Slayer, the blue glow of Arc (Skeleton knight in another world), the vertical/hirizontal pupils in Naruto, the "stare" of Yamamoto Genryusai in Bleach, etc. Just from the stance, confidence, or eyes, you can tell that someone messed up and are about to have a bad time 👀.
Pretty cool concept, the end game player that haunts the early dungeons. He couldn't protect them then, but he damn sure will now... as long as he is able... whatever the cost.
That's pretty much what I did playing Dark Souls III. I might not be any good for higher level folks, but I'll be damned if I don't help the earlier pilgrims get where they needed to. The least a Moonbro could do
yep, and THIS GENOCIDE NEED MORE POWER! alos fun fact goblin slayer is a npc of this worlds story, the unsong hero who is known for murndering goblins enmass and thus realativly fergotten unless you have gobbo trubble.because hero( she is labled just that) has tons to her and a side fact she always speaks in first person but slayer and his party are 3ed. meaning hero is the pc and main hero of this world, as they are one to save the world.
@@lechking941 He is not unsung though, in fact the local Bards make most of their money singing songs about him. He is the hero of the small people, the villagers constantly facing the goblin threat that other adventurers ignore. He is the light of hope for the villagers. Which is why they care a lot more about him then they do adventurers seeking fame. It was those songs is why High Elf Archer was seeking him out in the first place.
@@TankHunter678 got a new fact to know, but my point is kind of from how hero (the big god killer sward gal) would be, or any mc for the matter he often is known by the common folk but never above them to hard minus the good bards. or in the loop of the guilds, as he is often looked at oddly but for thoes who know ya you cant get THAT much experience and capacity for killing goblins than him. as we see he is keen and just does not give up or even a fuck. so ya hidden to the higher stages for his only goal, but to those who do, he is impossibly valuable.
@@lechking941 He is looked at oddly because of his poor gear and his overt focus on goblins. Most people do not want to deal with goblins, they are seen as stepping stone pain in the asses to bigger more profitable things. So to have a silver rank adventurer that kills only goblins is outright bizarre, but that is how he earned his title. Half the time he gets misidentified as a Undead Revenant Armor from his appearance. Thanks to the condition of his armor which is that way because of his knowledge of goblins.
Oathbreaker? If anything Vengeance. But the more pressing issue is ... Would he have low or high CHA? Low because he is anti-social to the max, but high since he gets a Harem & all of that without actually trying to go for that.
@@BrotherHood-xh9sg If memory serves... CHA has more of an influence on one's strength of presence more so than their ability to convince people or be attractive. In his case he would have a high CHA, as it better lets him invoke fear in the Goblins. Made evident every time he goes into red eye of death mode where he becomes too angry to die and becomes such an imposing and pressuring force that Goblins just turn tail and flee before him even when they are strong enough they could take him out.
Having seen the whole show, the first episode is pretty Brutal for the average viewer I'd say ! However it's a shame some oversensitive people chose to drop it past the first episode 'cause GS is a rather simple, yet interesting story of giving Evil doers a taste of their own medicine , and it has many good moments of action, heroism, tension and commedy ! As you said a rather underrated show ! PS: This song fits perfectly with GS character !
This song in particular has a very special place in my heart, and though I know it was intended to be about how are veterans were treated after coming back from war, which holds that message in and of itself is enough to be called a serious masterpiece, but I feel it also makes a lot of religious points that coincide with my own perspectives on religion itself. WARNING: if you are heavily religious especially Christian you might want to just ignore this comment because in the following rant I will be expressing my own atheistic point of view on the topic. To start, I’d like to state I would like to state that I acknowledge the importance in society religion holds and the foundations of civilization. It gave people assurance for the things around them they couldn’t explain at the time as well as establishing moral boundaries which were especially vital. Now, the specific points I disagree about is the idea of evil and righteousness existing outside of stories and fables. I believe everyone has their own reasons and circumstances to their own actions, which can be still be categorized as good or bad, but what defines those actions as which is purely subjective based on each individual’s own set of morals and ideals. Armed with that knowledge, I can’t sympathize with the idea that the devil is a malicious being who only cares about causing pain and madness and nothing else, especially since he wasn’t always that way. Looking into the Old Testament, I can honestly say that the devil seems like a better person than Yahweh. I mean, it really looked like Yahweh was just grooming Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden and that apple he encouraged them to eat gave them the ability to think for themselves. On the other hand, we got Yahweh constantly finding newer and more creative ways to punish any who don’t bend their knee to him, and the devil is the bad guy for trying to get people to oppose that?! From that I’m more inclined the devil is more of a pariah even he’s not entirely innocent. Next with Jesus I have nothing to say about his relationship with the devil, but with Jesus he seems just just cowardly. I mean, he won’t lift a finger to stop someone from being murdered, but he will sacrifice himself to forgive the murderer and then go live the good life in heaven. I feel like god and the devil are more just personification of order and chaos. Both are equally important because if order gets too much power over the chaos, then you get tyranny as if chaos has too much power over order you get anarchy. Peace is what you get with the proper balance within the 2. I’ve found that most people I encounter who believe evil and righteousness truly exist are usually the types of people who are easily fooled by the influences of society or are people more toward the arrogant side and need something to justify what they have done. Since people seem to believe that god can only be righteous and that the devil can only be evil people are quick to just blame the devil regardless who’s fault everything really is. You don’t have to condone anything you don’t want to but a lot of the time all you need to prove that not everything is as black and white as you are told is to simply put yourself in other’s shoes and consider what had to have been done to someone in order to bring them to the actions they make. Again, this is only my philosophy. Everyone has a right to what they believe and I won’t judge or discriminate anyone who believes otherwise.
This is a very interesting point of view (I'm Christian btw) I feel like you should either pray about this or speak to a theological expert about it. Like a priest or someone with a theological degree. Someone who can inform you and cause your philosophy to evolve and expand. Differing views like this need to be looked at in a more positive light Than a negative one. I mainly mean that to prevent brainwashing and such by trying to force only one narrative on a group of people. You may have some views that clash with the beliefs of Christians, but a little perspective never hurt anyone, and a lack thereof has caused major damage at the hands of malicious priests
@@goldenapplesaga5446Exactly. It needs to be examined by higher officials of any religion, but the weird part is that I had to internalize it all by myself. Magic rituals.. Doesn't matter what it is. How can one person be the glitch? Very uncomfortable feeling. But it based off of societal beliefs, governmental theories/conspiracy theories. My own experiences of observing dark and light interacting in this reality I've lived in this time around.. The Lost years of Jesus. History has a way of repeating itself. The evil energy just got crazy because I was trying to internalize as much as possible.. We are all free to believe what we want, no judgment, yada yada, but when it becomes something that is effecting the entire planet.. Shoulda just joined and they would've helped me most likely 🤫 Had a lot going on in my life. How easy everything fell into place.... I was so mad because I realized it was always me all along. I was the only one stopping myself the entire time.. And not a single one of my family or friends is capable of understanding what I was trying to explain. Exposing everything.. Went through a lot of phases. And all I did was start a pissing contest it seems 🤦🏻 Evil and righteousness definitely coexist with us. We are the channelers, our bodies minds and hearts. Intuition is a must, and belief is everything. After all, ones own belief is their limiter you could say. Mf'ers put me on a quest for power... When I had nothing, the devil made it so easy. Makes more sense for me to be Lucifer because Jesus already died. But still, it's a fucked up position for anyone, let alone anyone thinking it to be an option. No preacher has an answer... The ones at the very top might. How else am I supposed to experience all that as besides war? Not in battle with flesh and blood.. Too many people just lack understanding, and it's a shame because I see how religions have trapped people in confines that separate them from their divinity. Then you have the majority of the population that would never even consider passing those confines.. 👁️ We all in this together 🥳
Abaddon.. You was able to masterfully highlight tragic character of Goblin Slayer in this AMV. Honestly this amv is even better then GS Anime for me. In Overlord AMV You achieved impossible and expressed darkness of Overlord novels (not even shoved in original Anime yet). Can You do Akame ga Kill AMV that will do the same? There is no AMV to this time that would express fully in 5 minutes the tragedy of Akame ga Kill and if You will not do it then nobody will.
This is a combination of my favorite anime and favorite song and I love it as someone else already commented the anime and song go perfectly with each other so great job
The manga hasn't updated that much meaning it might take at least 2 or 3 more years for a sufficient amount of chapters to be made into anime scenes but at least in S2, we might see our little priestess earn some courage and gain leadership experience
This song is about our veterans who fight a war and go so easily discredited for their hard work. It pisses me off that the government cant house veterans that come home and have severe PTSD. If we can afford to send them to war, then we can afford to house them.
if you want to watch the rest, ep 1 was by far the worst, after it doesn't get even close in terms of how explicit “it“ or in general that “it“ is shown. After that it gets pretty entertaining imo.
You should finish the anime season. It was one of the best animes that year. First episode is tough to watch but it sets the tone that there wont be any bs powerup or plot devices to make goblin slayer win or lose it will be how he handled himself and his party in the quest for his own soul. This amv is most fitting one for how gs is like a perspn in the anime.
@@0doVo0 Umm horror movies and that's it for me but I don't watch them only ever watched a couple of them before I don't need to ask my mum I know the anwser already because she don't like anime so she don't care what anime I watch and I've asked if I could watch what ever I want what when I have the free time ofcours Sorry if I sound like a spoilt brat it's just really late over here were I'm from (00:24am)
Thank you to all the brave men an woman who serve this corrupt an evil country. Who chos to Sacrafice there lives so that we could have these privileges which most of the people take advantage of. Bless all the veterans who returned home an didn't the help the earned an took there own lives. I cannot imagine the stuff you went through.
i think people just dont get what the anime is. like people say that the anime is boring and to brutal. like yeh it is , but thats what the show was ment to be. it was a show to be scary brutal and "wholesome" at some points. if people just look at it the right way then they will realise why its good. dont give up on it on the first three episodes. watch the whole thing it all will make sense if you do. and the movie was just.. wait.. *fap*fap*fap*fap.. AMAZING and its only one "rape" scene. and they deserved to die ;) not really though.
And from what I know from friends Goblin Slayer is a great anime/manga for dnd players. It shows how people view generally weaker creatures as nothing to worry about but that they can be the most troublesome and violent of them if done correctly
