Kirk got that poetry style rap like it's hella chill but it's still straight bars and Nyck come with that aggressive style of rap, this is why they work so well together
I love Beast Coast. If you watch interviews from Pro-Era, A$AP Mob, Flatbush Zombies, and Underachievers, you literally hear them shout each other out all the time. It's the greatest feeling in the world being from NY.
nyck operates best with verses (8-16 bars) in short bursts full of punchlines and memorable introductions (his opening 2 lines are always attention grabbing). his verses on audiopium/ring the alarm are perfect examples. disguise the limit is fantastic though, love that mixtape
the freshman class and XXL in general is garbage and means literally nothing except that some lady picked you so she can attempt to feed off your success like a vulture. it has nothing to do with skills as a rapper or bars, metaphors, flow. None of that means anything, XXL is a business
