Y’all remember how much hate fanf world got when it launched, and now a sequel is one of the more requested games? Give this game a shot. And click team, if you manage to pick out this comment in the mess, ignore the reactionary nonsense, this looks dope
@@ClickteamLLC fr though clickteam, the people who don't like fnaf world and five laps at freddy's are just salty that the games arent scary, but the thing is although its a horror game and now horror movie franchise, it doesnt mean every single bit of the franchise has to be horror based, because remember; its a place for kids and grownups alike and brings fantasy and fun to life!⭐✨
Nothing wrong with silly games like these. It's okay to just make something fun akin to freddy in space or fnaf world. We already have plenty of more serious projects in the works. This is peak
@@The_evil_jonkler-cart445 My favorite stage is Midnight Motorist because it's just so cool, but I also learned from someone else that that map layout is identical to the actual Midnight Motorist game, including the house and mound, but those two things are inaccessible right now I believe. I think this game, when completed, will be important for the lore
The vibes im getting from this is thats its a Mario Kart like game but with the battery life mechanic from F-Zero as well as its own unique mechanics that relates it back to the FNAF franchise Cool

@Victor-056 tbf, some fans, no matter the fandom can be fans of other things, and whenever someone mentions something from a certain fandom (like among us as an example) then someone will be making a joke about it But nice, almost forgot that F-Zero was one of the few Nintendo franchises to have an anime/cartoon
Dear ClickteamLLC, Today, the bois were invited to my humble abode in order to partake in some Fred-Kart. Sadly however, the sudden news of the demo not containing splitscreen multiplayer has left the cockles of our heart empty. What are we to do in this situation. Singlepayer Karting?? Surely this is the Hell that you have damned us to. My main man Marshall is sitting behind me as I compose this letter of deep anger, barely able to hold back his tears. The other is about to smash a window in rage. Have you ever seen Bad Cop from the Lego Movie? Remember his hatred for chairs?? His rage is more so than the likes of Bad Cop. I will remember this deep betrayal of trust, and you will rue the day in which you crossed paths with the likes of Dirt, Heir to the Broman Throne. Yours Truly, Us P.S. Even without MP, we really enjoyed the demo. Looking forward to finding some secrets and such. Keep up the good work guys!
@@BromanChiefofScience I was wondering because the name of the little robots on Markiplier's mobile vehicle bay in Subnautica were Jeffery, Billy, Samwise, and Marshall
So far, I've had a really jolly old time with the game, its simple but fun. Its got some bugs but I am also aware its a small demo and that these things take time. I LOVE Midnight Motorist, it feels like a dream come true getting to see one of my favorite minigames in the entire FNAF franchise in 3D format! Thank you Clickteam!
@@lordsunky2764 Mendo is likely the mechanic... Unless Roxanne took over... ...That, or Mendo was actually Roxanne before she gained her endo skeleton...
@@ClickteamLLCI enjoy the concept of this game I hope you guys don’t rush it out give the characters more life add more stuff like please develop this game a lot more the controls need bit more polish up bit more but I love the thought of the stages not perfect but 👍
The Steam description states this game is “made by” Fazbear Entertainment. So this could be like Help Wanted, a game that’s supposed to be fun, but also has lore? I’m excited to see what this Endo fully looks like, and I can’t wait to see the full release!!!!! 😱😀👍
Im really excited for this game!! Some notes: I hope there's a Roxy's Raceway track!!! The drifting looks and feels weird? It needs a bit more something. Can this be multiplayer (both split screen and online)? It'd be way more fun. Heres hoping this pops off. Feels like a classic arcade game tho!
Honestly, I'm having a blast with this game! After getting used to the feel and how to play, I started getting pretty good! Favorite part right now is just goofing off and seeing what I can and can't do, driving off course, trying to get out of bounds, and just having a whole lot of fun! It might be very buggy here and there, but it's certainly a good time. Ps. This isn't me saying to keep the game broken, but right now it's like speedrunners messing around in Security Breach and having fun with the jank
I love the fact that this game doesn't try to be a "Mario Kart ripoff with fnaf" and instead it goes for much more original ideas while also havjng references to Fnaf. The way of how the battery/nitro is handle here is so simple, yet unique at the same time. I love it
Just playtested it and I gotta say, I do think this game still needs a lot of work done. Probably the most talked about issue is the drifting and handling feeling weird. I personally agree to that. I also do think that the graphics might need work, not actually the ingame graphics themselves, more just the little particle effects, like the drifting sparks and I think fire coming out of the exhaust when boosting would add to the experience. The UI of the game in the menu is perfectly fine I'd say, I like it a lot actually, however ingame, when racing still needs polish, I think a different font, one that looks more clean and retro would fit I think. With all the criticism, I really do think this game has IMMENSE potential and if the constructive criticism that people give is taken to account, this will be one hell of a banger game for sure. Clickteam, please ignore all the useless hate people are spreading and focus on the few constructive criticisms people give, I'd really love this game to become a fully fleshed racing title!
Also, Clickteam, please add an option to switch the gas and brake button on the controllor (I tested with an XBOX 360 Controller), because in literally every other racing game the gas button is on the right and brake is left, it being the otherway around feels really unnatural.
Anyone hating the demo, don’t forget, this demo came out a year before the finished game comes out, of course it won’t be as good as the finished product. 1 year in development time is huge. Demos usually come out a month before release. Not a year.
“We actually used to race in city courses too, but then there was the crash of ‘87. It’s amazing that the human body can survive a head on collision from an airborne go kart.”
I won’t lie when I say that this game is pretty buggy, like quite buggy, but despite that I’ve legit had nothing but fun playing it like it’s genuinely just so charming and stimulating for a demo
I used to think these graphics were bad, but now they've kinda grown on me, I really hope we can use that static filter in-game. However, there are four points I hope are addressed by launch: -The Steam page says 12 characters and 16 tracks, while I get the 16 tracks thing (the original Mario Kart games used to only have 16-20 new ones), I really hope there's more content than just 12 characters (it would be a real missed opportunity) -The game has controller support but isn't on consoles? Hope you guys release it there when the game is actually finished. -I hope there's more than just racing and Time Trials, example MKDS mission mode or just a battle mode. -Does this game support online multiplayer? It'd be kinda lame if it didn't, especially if this costs a lot (for a game this small). And whatever you do, do not listen to the haters, don't give up on this!
One of the first games I played was a Mario racing game when a friend of my dad gifted me it along with a Wii. To see my favourite game franchise get a racing game is like it all coming full circle
this game sure does have some bugs to fix and lacks of animations and stuff but if I’m honest with you, its really good as a demo, y’all need to give this game a chance it really might just be a game we can grind in the future oh yeah and the music is probably one of the best parts about it too.
Played the demo earlier today and I love it! I honestly have no problems with the game so far other than the occasional bug, other than that everything including the art, gameplay, map design, and soundtrack is spot on (seriously, the soundtrack is already underrated in my eyes, it slaps so much harder than what I was expecting lol)! Can't wait for the full game!
@Josue_S_6411 Huh, really? I only ran into two bugs the entire game (First one being a menu render bug that only happened to me once, and the other bug being a glitch that suddenly shot me so far out of bounds that I couldn't really recover). If there was any other bugs during my playthrough, I didn't catch them and they were very minor. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the demo is poorly optimized for computers with low GPUs? My computer is pretty high-end in terms of processing power, so it makes sense that I wouldn't have been able to tell how many bugs people had if poor low-end-optimization was the cause of them.
The game is already pretty good visually, cool, and enjoyable! The only little things that bother me a bit are when I sometimes respawn in a loop after exiting the track, or when it sometimes displays the sky with a horizontal black line in the middle in the character and vehicle selection menu. Aside from a few issues, you made a good FNaF game, ClickTeam!
It’s obvious that this game isn’t finished by any means, but I look forward to the full polished release of this game. I can’t wait to see what secrets await for us in midnight motorist. People are hating way too much on a demo. You guys have obviously made something awesome! Keep up the amazing work
They should play this video upon launching the game, I just finished playing and had no idea about some of these mechanics. These really make gameplay interesting
I genuinely think putting a lo-fi CRT filter on the game would be really fun. It would give it a lot of style (and I mean this in the kindest of ways) help hide any imperfections with graphical design or gameplay. It fits and would be really cool. Definitely consider it!
the demo really could have used a little bit more time because its insanely buggy and the really cool and interesting mechanics cant get much time to shine. excited to see the full release though!
the demo has been pretty fun so far! other than a few bugs, (to be expected as it's only a demo obviously) i really enjoyed it. i'm excited for the full release, it's cool that we got another silly spinoff fnaf game. nice change of pace
this will be the perfect game on full release if drifting is tuned a little, multiplayer is added, and i can play as circus baby because shes my favorite character
Would be nice if this vid was part of the demo also i feel like this game will need like 2 more years in the oven cause its well ruff to say the least from what i have seen
I played the game before watching this video, and honestly, I’m surprised at how much I missed. These mechanics are a lot more thought out than I initially assumed. An in-game tutorial would be nice, lol. This game really has a lot of potential, it just needs a LOT more time in the oven. I was kind of harsh on it at first, but only because I saw its potential. Just a suggestion, but I would love to see the characters wearing accessories that differentiate themselves from the original cast, like gloves, scarfs, or helmets. I also think special items that only spawn during the day or night could be an interesting feature. Keep cooking, Clickteam. 👍
a friend showed me their gameplay of this and i genuinely really loved the artstyle, i didn't realize this was official at first! (the Nightshift mode on Midnight Motorist making the cars mimic their arcade glowing sprites btw is an amazing touch.)
I never knew that's this is actually in the game mechanics. Not gonna lie this video actually helping me out how to understanding the game mechanics worked. I think it would be better if you guys making a proper tutorial in the game so that there's no confusion of how the game mechanics actually works.
This game takes a bit to get used to (especially if you're not used to racing games) but after a few races to practice- it's a tonne of fun! I really cannot wait to play the full game and I hope it has online multiplayer so people can engage in the madness/road rage X'D There's a few things that need a bit of tweaking, but that's normal for a demo, so I wouldn't stress too much about it now :) Excellent job clickteamLLC :)
I know it's a demo and so most likely this won't get patched until the whole game is out, but Midnight Motorists seems to be having a lot of crashing issues (not the racing kind)- particularly around the end point of laps. I've had this happen plenty and saw one other comment about it too. I really love the core mechanics of this game and can't wait to hit the track with friends once it's fully out, but I just wanted to put that out there in case maybe someone sees this.
The game looks really good but there is quite a few game breaking bugs however, this is an early demo build of the game, the whole point is to find that stuff so it can be noticed and fixed as well as gaining feedback on some small things that could be changed.
This game is good, but it has a lot of problems. While playing the demo, I came across a lot of bugs. Some being pretty minor, like getting stuck on ledges, or it letting me go backwards. Others were pretty game breaking. Like it respawning me in the same place for several minutes if I went too far, or after a few seconds. The drifting is also really touchy, and something about the graphics seems... off? It looks almost AI generated. The night can also make the road hard to differentiate from the off-road. An in-game tutorial would also be welcome. These are all just personal nit-picks, though. All in all, I really like this game! I used to play mk8d for my school's esport team, and really enjoy games like it. I absolutely can't wait for the full release!
I’m glad the Endo can at least be scared away if you don’t like jumpscares. Couple questions about him- 1- if he jumpscares someone, does he disappear or does he go after the person with the next lowest battery and so on? 2- if you scare him away by hitting him with items, does he ever come back?
While I think the demo is very rough around the edges, I can see it has a lot of potential, really hope you guys can work it out and bring it to its full potential
I don't leave comments often, but I just played the game and I REALLY like it; great job on this, Clickteam!! I see a lot of people complaining about the drift, but personally, I love the current drift mechanics and hope it doesn't change too much-it takes more skill to utilise it properly than, say, Mario Kart, or something. Obviously their are a few "quirks" in the game, but I know they'll be worked out of the game come 2025. Just wanted to let you guys know how much I like the current drifting system-thanks for the sneak peak at the game!
@@ClickteamLLC Yes, I think that would help; it would potentially show that the drifting in this game works quite differently to the drifting in other games. Perhaps a short tutorial minigame or something could work, I don't know, haha! I guess another thing that could help (I don't know how difficult this would be) is to make it possible for some cars to turn sharp corners without drifting. That way, people who don't like drifting don't have to, and people who do like it (who also do it well) get speed boosts and battery. But anyway, I really wish you good luck with the development of FLAF; it was one of the projects on the August Line-up I was most excited for :]
