Today we highlight the beautiful Coca-Cola Bottling Company building in the neighborhood of Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello. Today it thrives as a school-we love seeing this kind of adaptive reuse! Thanks for watching and we’ll see you again on Friday.
This is our series called "Five Minute Histories." Twice a week, we’ll record a short video about a different historic place in Baltimore and post it on our Facebook page and website. For more information or to become a member of Baltimore Heritage, check out: baltimoreherit...

You might want to review the Chandler building in downtown Baltimore. Same Coca-Cola family.

International Harvester was a truck dealership. In the early 70s it moved to Sulfur Spring Road in Halethorpe. An interesting building in its own right, the building has IH logos incorporated onto its design. The Coca-Cola building in Lansdowne was demolished about 10 years ago, last used by Blind Industries and Services IIRC.

This building was also the home of the United Cable TV company, and later the Baltimore Police Internal Affairs, until they moved across the street.

In the early 90's, I went to the elementary school up the street. We would Trick or Treat in this building on Halloween

Back in the 60s I remember as a little boy going to the Coke a Cola bottling factory in Baltimore for a class trip. Thank you for bringing back fond memories.
