Five Nights at Candy's Remastered - Fangame Review 

One thing you didn’t find is that once Shadow Candy sets you an hour back, the origami cat disappears from your desk and is hidden somewhere on the cameras. Clicking it returns it to the desk as well as gives you your lost time back. In theory, that could mean you could just straight up finish the night if you went past what would have been 6am.

Fun Facts: Cam 13 DOES have a function. Staring at it for a few seconds on any normal night causes RAT to wake up and join the night, essentially turning it into a pseudo hard mode Also during the Shadow Candy fight if S.C. gets into your office the origami cat on your desk vanishes, if you can find it on the camera you get the hour you lost back

You quickly mentioned something about being able to see springtrap in fnaf 1 and honestly, that’d be pretty cool, especially when not knowing who he is until fnaf 3.

the game itself LOOKS beautiful, but at the cost of being a little less scary. the original was really dark, and it was also in 4:3, which made the game way more claustrophobic, the cameras took a LOT of space in the screen

Not gonna lie, listening to old Gomotion videos really shows how much less passion there was in your voice. I genuinely hope you’re happier these days, cause ya certainly sound it.

God, I remember when the Candy render was put in that shitty FNaF 3 fan game (now known as “The Return to Freddy’s”. Glad the developer learned his lesson and started making his own custom animatronics.

7/20 mode is only hard if you use the camera. The animatronics are so predictable at this point that you can make a pretty good guess of when they'll show up. (Thus, someone created the "no camera" strategy of beating 7/20 mode.)

i really want a fnaf game that makes you like an actual family diner owner and is going bankrupt, so the person is like trying to do everything at once, and you have to like buy power, so power consumption would actually be useful and not useless. also the forgotten theme sounds like it would be in hl opposing force and i love it

the way the music stops in the extra when you go on the rat is actually terrifying

My only problem with these games is that the entire establishment runs on a few AAA batteries

Actually, the higher the difficulty setting on the animatronics, the less RNG there is, let me explain. In pretty much every FNaF game, an animatronic is given a movement opportunity every couple seconds, from there, they roll a random number between 1-20. If the number rolled is lower than their AI level, they'll move on to their next room, if it's higher, they'll stay put. That means when an animatronic AI level is at 20, there's littlw RNG at play at all, they'll simply move at every opportunity given, with the only RNG in the original FNaF being which room they decide to go into. That also means that they'll automatically move away from the door is at the first possible opportunity as well, which acts as a nice balancing factor.

Am i the only one that find Candy and Cindy sincerely adorable? I mean, all the others have varying degrees of the creepy factor, and over in FNaF, the toys do look like toys, but to me don't really register as creepy or cute, but both Candy and Cindy are hard to be scared of, even in their jumpscares. they just make me go "daaaw"

FNaF 1 actually had widescreen too. Idk why it wasn’t in 2-4. Scott actually updated them to support it.

I feel like making a fnaf fangame would be really fun, though I wouldnt want to half-ass it tbh. Fnaf would be such a fun game to kinda recreate as the initial game basics are so simple that you could put most of your energy into cosmetics and the animatronics. I feel like fangames are so frequent though that any new games are just assumed to be shat out and no love put in them

When I was 12 I was making a game on scratch called the storage. I was hoping for it to be big. I had all kind of original characters. I never finished it though, but I tried to bring it back with 3d graphics in 2017, but I never did that either.

I kinda love how the FNAF 3 fan-game that stole Candy The Cat later evolved into The Return to Freddy's, what I consider to be one of the few grandpa's of the FNAF fan-game communities. That series is real old.

the shadow candy battle actually makes a lot of sense due to one of the events in fnac 3, where if you push the origami cat off the table, you get the secret end cutscene where the origami cat promises to haunt Mary's nightmares for the rest of her life, becoming an unwanted memory. maybe the shadow candy fight is a visual representation of her fighting that trauma. I'm probably not the first to think this, but if that was the battle's intention, then i think it's pretty safe to say that it succeeded with its symbolism.

Here's a question Why do ANY doors in a FNAF game need power _at all_ It's almost like these companies know there's murder bots in their restaurants. In the original I don't think I died ONCE until maybe Night 6. In the remaster I never died until night 7. In the original, the old animatronics can be seen in the door - the door looks... saturated when they are in the room? 🤔 It's weird, but noticeable. Also I didn't know about Shadow Candy. Neat ^^

I can’t be the only one who played the remaster without looking at the ; left door, right door and blank’s room. I mean of course I needed to use other cameras for Shadow Candy’s night but that was the exception.

Fun Fact: Footsteps were re-added into the remaster so you don't need the camera's for the Blind Spot's.

Did you know in the Original and Remastered they changed the penalty of lettin Penguin in, FNaC 1: Kill the power and Candy recks you with hardly any survival chance FNaC 1 Remastered: messes with you door controls helping you and ruining you, still able to survive the night but now Penguin will annoy you. Good idea

a good idea for a tutorial for fnaf fan games is a skippable training video so veterans can skip past the tutorial and get right to it, while the new players can sit down and watch it

I would like a fnaf game that gives you the ability to buy upgrades to your office depending on how much power you leave (because it comes out of you wage or whatever, which makes a little more sense if you ask me).so you can give yourself a way to gain back 10% of your power with some kind of battery, more rotation with the cameras, etc.

Im going to be honest, I beat 7/20 in about 4 attempts using a really useful strategy. Leave camera on blank, close doors every time you check the camera, and open them when they reach half way through the usage meter. Once you master that strategy, which is quite easy, the game becomes really easy, and makes the game a bit more boring. I think this game is a bit too easy. It was the god forsaken secret night that was awful!

I survived Night 6 with 2% power, honestly didn't find any other night waste so much, I usually survived with min 35% and I used the same strategy xD Must be the difficulty

I want to make my own FNAF game, except it's like an RPG first-person where your on a plane, and the minigames are on TVS in random rooms. after you finish, your character will say something related to it. for the first, you say "Why would you converse with a robot?"

The reason I’m not really a fan of Candy’s is that it’s always felt too 1:1 to me. It’s just FNaF 1 with a dash of FNaF 2. Then candys 2 is FNaF 3 with also a dash of FNAF 2. Then candy’s 3 is like just FNaF 4

The all 20 mode is suppose to be nearly impossible, which is why I like it. If you can't beat it, than you can just turn them all down a bit and play with that.

Just beat 7/20 mode on FNAC:R; what i will say about it is that it is very highly luck-based. The entire course of your night is dictated by how nice Rat wants to be to you. Left-Rat is great, because it means you only have to worry about glow-animatronics and don't need to check the cameras (other than for blank). But, Right-Rat is super bad because you have to check for Old Candy via cameras as well. it sounds like a small thing, but that extra few seconds and percent are vital. I got a really lucky run and only had Right-Rat once. Old Candy snuck into my office at about halfway through 5 AM but he just never killed me. I even ran out of power about 5 seconds before the night ended and he just never jumped me.
