Today we archive another chapter in the saga of Five Night at Freddy's and are over hallway done! Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is by far the scariest game in the entire series and I was sweating buckets while trying to record this. It's already tense from the first night onward and the big difference with this game is that you have to listen to audio clues in order to succeed. But the issue is that these audio clues are really quiet.
Which means you have to up your volume by a lot and that means the jump scare is all the more powerful when it happens. I personally don't prefer this gameplay that focuses so much on audio since it takes away the joy of actually playing the game. By the end I often was not even looking at the screen but just holding my ear close to the speaker and later on just focusing on the sound of my headphones. I feel that FNAF 2 had the sweet spot when it came to using audio clues on animatronics coming through the vents.
Nevertheless, the game becomes quite manageable once you understand what the audio clues mean and it did not take me too long to complete this game. It scared me a billion times, but now that we have archived this it is time to move on to my personal favorite FNAF game in the series. Onto Circus Baby's location we go!
