Not every asset that goes unused in a game means that they were planned to be used. I can imagine many of the assets from previous games were just there for testing purposes.

Actually the "seal vent" feature was only scrapped for pc it's still there on moblie

Fun fact: Toxic song wasn't completely unused. It is used by certain characters when you fight them. The player themselves just can't use it. UPDATE: while I cannot find who used it, I can explain what I think I did. It may even have been removed as an enemy attack in update 2. It works similarly to toxic balloon. It simply poisoned the enemy.

The feature of the toxicity meter could probably be the missing link that explains why shadow bonnie and shadow freddy can appear, probably just the remains of a removed feature that were left activated in the game

Showbiz Pizza researcher here, I know these images that appear at 45:15 and I will list them all below These images were taken for the game by Aaron Fechter who owns Creative Engineering which made the animatronic band that Showbiz Pizza Place used "The Rock-Afire Explosion" 45:16 - Prototype Paul Mcartney animatronic head. 45:22 - A Uncle Klunk animatronic that was destroyed in shipping a few years ago. Aaron has it now because he replaced the character for the customer. 45:28 - Not too sure but these could be circuits from Aarons computer the "Anti-Gravity Freedom Machine". 45:34 - A prototype made by a staff member to try to cheapen the cost of animatronic production, only one was made as aaron rejected the idea. 45:40 - Images of newly made Rock-Afire eyes. (You can find the same image on Ebay for the listing to buy a new set.) The Paul Mcartney head is very impressive when you compare it to other CEI figures, and the mechanisms in it is radically different to anything else they ever made.

It's possible that the lives system kept popping up due to Scott reusing ClickTeam Fusion and not removing the files because they weren't intrusive. Though in FNaF4 onward they were likely removed due to Scott making more ambitious gameplay and deciding to tidy up the code.

hearing ftf's voice as a german is so strange.

I think the teaser showing the mask and torch being used at the same time was probably based on the version of the game where the toxicity metre was around. In the finished game, the mask's primary weakness is that you can't use the torch or cameras while wearing it. You have to take it off to keep the Puppet and Foxy at bay. But being able to use the torch while the mask is on would've been much less broken in a game where the mask itself had a time limit.

I'm gonna be honest, this channel deserves more popularity, especially considering how large the FNAF community is. This creator's Text-to-Speech voice unironically had me a little convinced it was their actual voice, but then my mind realized how toneless the voice was. on the frst fnaf 2 teaser you forgot that there is a curtian, theres no curtian at all in fnaf 2 around nor mangle or withered foxy.This adds on to the theory that mangle was originaly supposed to be a normal toy animatronic, and that she was supposed to have a stage

25:34 The differences actually are all caused by the lighting because the light is coming from below. The lower teeth wouldn't get light because they are blocked by her chin. The eyelashes look longer because of the shadows, if you look closer then you can see that the eyelashes have a reflection but the shadows do not.

Baby's eyelashes are actually the same size they just look long because of the lighting
