I think it is a heavily damaged but still mentally in control sun that we see at 0:53. He moves not as if he’s trying to attack you but as if he’s just found you after being separated and is waving to greet you. Honestly I hope that Sun is our guardian because he’s my favorite. Maybe he is helping us escape in this scene and will be friendly?
I feel like he will either still have 2 personalities and switch between them at random times or he will be evil either through the whole or most of the game.
Fr. The only thing in this game that isn't in the trailer is the Gregory dialogue we hear in this trailer. But that's excusable since I assume that dialogue was only intended for the trailer not was never in the game.
I love how the Daycare Attendant is a mix of both sun and moon at this point, showing how the fire messed up their programming, although I believe that moon is still in control, as the cut scene appears to be a jumpscare, and sun doesn't hurt us in SB. Although, he could be upset, or like I said, the fire messed up their programming, causing sun to be violent aswell
Well she is "the one you should not have killed" after all, and she believes that everyone (including William Afton) is redeemable. It's why she as the 8-bit alligator in Ultimate Custom Night tortures William Afton. To make him repent, and see the error in his ways. However the "Crying Child" will make sure she doesn't get her way. What most people who didn't read the books do not realize is that Michael had no control over the mouth of Golden Freddy. It was someone masquerading as a security guard that made the mouth move. The "crying child" saw his killer... His real killer... His own father... William Afton. This is what real vengeance looks like. In the end of RUIN "The Vengeful Spirit" Evan Afton a.k.a. Gregory Afton will attempt to kill his drunken serial killer father William Afton.
@@nyes4596 basically Cassidy holds no grudge against William Afton, but his youngest son (who keep in mind is genetically related to multiple serial killers) wants him dead for what he's done.
Maybe the next DLC would include some new modes. Like the unused survival mode, a mode to see the Pizzaplex during the day when the animatronics' hacks don't kick in, and maybe a character creator. One for our kid character, and one for our personal animatronic, all for it to come together in an online mode where 2 groups of players could try to win against each other. Plus, don't feel bad. Security Breach isn't completely screwed over. Maybe a few uh-ohs here and there, and some not-as-wanted final products, but It was still great, at least in my experience. ;)
0:52 bro, the part in the trailer where sun/moon bursts through the door is played in reverse. in the actual dlc, he kicks you out of the daycare because its messy, waves, then slams the door
Always wanted a more “urban exploration” type fnaf game where we explore a run down location, rather than being an employee at one. Looks like this might be it!
Imagine how cool it'd be if we got a Spin-off Game where we are exploring the Sister Location Building&Bunker Complex....if they both got abandoned&"sealed" off before Michael Afton got there. Would be super neat to see the Funtime Animatronics hunting some Urban Explorers. Man, now I'm thinking of Sinister Turmoil and how neat that Game looked before it got canceled&transferred to other Devs......it's a damn shame that Sinister Turmoil never made it through Production, the few Demoes we did get looked pretty cool and I'd love to see somebody try reviving that project following a similar style as that Demo where you get into an old Freddy's Location, turn on the Power, go into a Bunker System and then get got by Freddy while wandering around.....also the Sinister Animatronics just look kinda neat. Yeah they're a bit Edgy, but not too Edgy for my taste.
This is a DLC campaign of a FNAF game where we play as a kid who gets stuck in a Fazbear establishment. And now we’re going to be playing as a different kid.
@@omnimon2230 Yes but its still a fully functioning facility. I mean something along the lines of those people who like break into abandoned buildings and stuff to explore them. Paired with animatronic threats in the style of the images you sometimes see of disney animatronics that they just left there to rot after their respective ride was shut down.
It’s amazing that Steel Wool knew the problems the original game had with its atmosphere and decided to help fix up in the dlc to make it truly look like a horror game.
@@sweeps3845 The mood wasn't the problem. The "Not scary in the slightest" atmosphere was way too obvious and took away from the goal of the franchise. TO BE SCARY isnt the goal that SB met.
Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere of the pizzaplex. While the pizzaplex in the original game still was a very cool and memorable setting it still did not have the scare factor due to how bright and colorful everything looked. However here in the dlc everything is a lot more darker and run down almost giving us vibes to the classic Fnaf games. It’s amazing that Steel Wool knew the problems the original game had with its atmosphere and decided to help fix up in the dlc to make it truly look like a horror game.
@@WinterWolf_Edits the franchise ALWAYS about horror, the only games that didn't really focus on horror were UCN. Security Breach tried to be "horror" but it felt too kid friendly and it just wasn't a FNaF game or a good one at least, still it was fun.

I feel like Gregory's "Don't give up on me yet" definitely extends to Security Breach as a game, not just the in-game story. The trailer looks awesome, and it's nice to see that so far, Steel Wool is acknowledging the fans' opinions on SB and working to improve Super excited!!
I wasn't expecting such a improvement from security breach. The animatronics are actually something to fear, and the map has effort and horror intention in it.
Let's just hope they got off of their asses and actually made a decently bug-free game this time (I swear to god Steel Wool, if this is just as buggy as the initial game, AND you didn't fix any of the original bugs, I... can't really do anything tbh I'm just some random 14 year-old on the internet lmao)
You upped the bar a freaking lot, Steelwool. Playing through the entire DLC made me interested in fnaf lore again. I really wished we would've gotten this trailer song in the game somewhere, but nonetheless, you did an amazing job and keep up the awesome work y'all do!
Honestly, this is why I wasn’t bothered that security breach was bright and colorful because now it shows how the DLC is three times darker and you’re able to see the difference. Honestly, can’t wait for this game.
@@frownyclowny6955 they are, they're just in little sections rather than like the entire game. like the endoskeleton part, the shattered roxy part where she chases you, the bathroom/laundry room section (though if you go through chips you can skip it), the afton fight location, etc. I'm glad they're making the entire game darker for the dlc though
If you slow down the interaction with Roxy, you can sort of see her ears move up a bit in curiosity and turning to her when Cassie touched her hand grabbing her. Also Cassie does have proof she’s a fan of Roxy, the green nail polish, the purple bracelet, the walkie talkie, and I believe her shoes are also Roxy’s colors. So it would be interesting to have roxy as a friend and try to help her friends and fix them up and stop whoever is controlling them.
The fact that this game started out as a point click survival game and now it's getting a movie adaptation is just fantastic and now we went from closing doors to full on free roam.
@@TheOstrichOrginization I'm pretty sure matpat doesn't do trailer theories, I mean why do a theory on a trailer when you can just wait for the real thing y'know? Matthew isn't the person who'll lunge forward at lore if it isn't present yet, think about bendy and the dark revival, he didn't do a theory on the trailer and who Wilson or Audrey was because there wasn't any information on the characters.
Oh yeah... The Cassidy gets Betrayed by Gregory Afton storyline (in the earliest of the banned books he was called Gregory, and was changed to Evan shortly after his first story) from the banned Scholastic books is now all coming out in the games. They banned the books because they accidentally included fan artwork instead of game stills. As a result Scholastic banned their own books after accidentally violating copyright law.
@@khiyan_autistic have you never seen GTLive? Not to mention the most recent video of GTLive he did just that with the teaser trailer (not even a full trailer) to the FNAF movie.
@@Xxjack-09xX They probably changed it for a horror reason. They wanted Ruin to be about narrow areas and claustrophobia. The Atrium is just so open it would take away that feeling. So instead of having the player go through the Atrium has a central connection point, they had us go through vents and narrow hallways to get from location to location.
Never before have we gotten such significant announcements so close together. First the movie and now this! Looks like it is definitely going the horror route this time. So excited to play!
I love the "Don't give up on me yet" line at the end. I feel like that's the devs talking directly to us, It shows that they recognize the mistakes that were with this game and I really really hope they knock it out of the park with this one. I'm a massive fnaf fan and I was so dissapointed when this game first came out, the bugs, the annoying parts in the gameplay, the rushed, kind of incomplete story... Please, let this DLC be what Security breach was meant to be
Yeah and it doesnt look to be rushed at all! They themselves made a release date meaning they are confident in the game being complete. Unlike last time, alot of stuff from the trailers was cut and it was because they had a deadline from Sony to release it by 2021. So that is why it was so rushed. But this time they have all the time they need so it should be great.
Calling the story "kind of incomplete" is like calling a ball of dough with a pepperoni on it "kind of a pizza." I can't believe they decided to release Security Breach at all with everything wrong with it and its complete failure to successfully follow up on the rest of FNAF. Hopefully, this will be a step towards making the game actually good.
They a did a excellent job with Help Wanted, Security breach was a little ehh... But seems that they are taking the criticisms to make the game better, that's a W, so i have hopes for future games.
This week has been truly an insane ride for Fnaf. The fact that we first got a teaser of the literal movie and now just 2 days later we finally got our first actual real trailer on the Security Breach Ruin dlc. I tell you if 2023 is going to be the year of Freddy then all way out I will definitely accept that tradition. It looks like at this point Fnaf is already starting to become a huge special impact and it hasn’t even been it’s 10th year anniversary yet.
I think the design of the animatronics is something incredible, I keep asking "How the hell are they still alive?" Your designs are really good. This year is mere gold for FNAF
The amazing thing is. In the oeiginal sb, the endo got by far the scariest design and level. Yet now. Next to the new models. They almost look childish.
I don't know how they still work. Animatronics like springtrap, scrap baby and molten freddy are run by spirits but the glamrocks are just ai that could stop controlling them easily
This is literally the best month for fnaf in a long time, and as the old man of this franchise, I am very happy about these events. Thanks Scott for the childhood, and for the fnaf :)

This looks SO COOL! Don't worry, I haven't given up on FNAF yet. I came close, but never fully fell into it. I just hope this doesn't hurt poor Matpat too badly.
My idea for why Sun/Moon are the way they are in this trailer is that it isn’t just because it was so dark for a long time. It definitely seems like Sun could survive a long time with Moon out and in control. It can’t be that. What *I* think is either: 1. The darkness of the abandoned building made them change into Moon, and the fire (if there was one) melted away Moon to reveal Sun underneath. 2. Moon stayed in control for too long so Sun started clawing his way from inside of Moon to the outside. 3. The amount of time that passed withered away Moon to reveal Sun. 4. (Unknown thing that made them merge.) What do *you* guys think made Sun/Moon like this? :) I’d be interested to know
I think he possibly glitched a lot during the disaster causing him to become this. He obviusly seems kind of melted. But what's interesting is the hability of him to change his arms to yellow to blue, it really never showed us how this change could happen. Anyways, WE ARE A FEW HOURS AWAY FROM FINDING OUT! ^v^
This DLC looks amazing, everything looks a lot scarier and it seems the story may be a bit more developed. Plus it’s nice to see (or I guess hear) Gregory sounding like an actual kid would in his situation
I also miss the vibe from the old games, but I am still happy with how more polished and upgraded overall the series has become. (not including the release version of security breach lol) And I have a few friends who have lost interest in the whole franchise because of the jump they took that really didn't match well with older games but I'm sure the ruin update will get some OG's back into the community (hopefully)
idk, I'm not counting on it. while this does seem like a step in the right direction by actually having the place be grimy again, fnaf is once more trying to make horror with spooky terminator robots. I miss the simple slow burn, creepy, and more grounded horror from the first 3 games. voice acting is also as strange as ever.
This trailer has been pieced together perfectly; it provides such immense tension! I'm sure when MatPat reacts to this 1 minute and 9 second video he and the rest of the people in 'Theory Headquarters' are going to make their reaction video at least 50 minutes plus. Can't wait until 'Security Breach Ruin' comes out!!
I love that statement "Don't give up on me yet" as if it's the devs themselves telling us to not lose hope for the series after the disappointing response to Security Breach
@@Julia-ln5og As an independent game, yes, a bit glitchy, but the graphics are really great. But it didn't really have that much fnaf essence except for the final boss fight, most of the scares have been really toned down. Like playing outlast with a teddy bear mod. I do have higher hopes in ruin though, seeing as how the animatronics and environment aren't as cute and fabulous anymore.
i loved security breach because you can roam. i think they steel wools studios should remaster all fnaf games with free roam. when the fnaf ruin comes out they need to update the regular fnaf sb with the same graphics and great gameplay
I actually have high hopes for this game despite how Security Breach turned out. This seems the bring back the scary element that FNAF is and might build on the story of SB! If they do the mechanics correctly, this could be an awesome game! I'm thinking that the bunny animatronic we see is Vanny (but she's human so idk) or Glamrock Bonnie. I do wonder though, what happened to Gregory and where's Freddy?
I think the final line of “don’t give up on me yet” could be a hint at how different this game is going to be. It could be breaking the fourth wall to ensure us the dlc is going to fix the issues with security breach. Can’t wait!
Abandoned and rotting places like this are always great for horror games, and those animatronic designs are something else. Thanks for sticking with this game, I'm excited to see this release and what you guys'll do next!
I liked the semi clean appearance of the Pizzaplex, with dirty hidden away areas. To me, it emphasized how they still had dirty/dark secrets despite trying to present a clean image. The underground landfill and the lost pizzeria under Roxy Raceway were a bit much, but they added a funny “willingness suspension of disbelief” element for the game.
I love how the devs clearly listened to the fans and worked around all of the designs of the game to build on the original security breach, this looks amazing! 👏👏👏
I’m still keeping my hopes slightly down, as it’s still security breach. But I still have hope that this will be good, and by the looks of it they are changing for the better.
I mean it doesn't look like it has the alternate companion feature everyone wanted... Unless you can hack one of the animatronics, remove the Glitchtrap virus, and then fix that one up at a station... Would be interesting certainly if you could choose which one to remove from the game as an adversary and make your protector, adding tons of replayability. All they would have to do is have three or four different missions to "defeat and fix an animatronic" and you could only complete one each playthrough. I will say I don't have a good feeling about "Gregory." I think that's a synthesized voice drawing her in as a trap, and the real Gregory might show up later with Freddy and Vanessa in tow. If the save Vanny ending is the canon one (it was the best rated ending after all), then Afton is still down there, which would explain why everything is still running...
So I may or may not have a theory about something, it sort of shows in the trailer. I want to believe that Roxy will be on our side in the DLC, just by looking at the hints, Cassy is using a Roxy walkie talkie kind of thing, and it reminds me of how Gregory used a Freddy watch to talk with Freddy. We also see a cutscene kind of thing between Cassy and Roxy where it looks like Roxy is neutral with her. Cassy grabs Roxy's hand and Roxy looks at it in a not so aggressive way. Just by looking at those connections made me think, there's a big chance it could happen. And one more thing! What about Music Man? It doesn't show him in the trailer but we don't know for sure what happened to him after the chase scene with Gregory in the main game. Honestly there is so much to expect out of this DLC, I'm hoping for something extremely terrifying. I wish the game luck.
I think that would be amazing. I always thought there could be more to Roxy and Sun/Moon. Both characters have so much personality going for them. Unfortunately it seems both characters have gone off the deep end. Maybe one ( if not both) of them will help us. Maybe not. One thing to make a note of. The camera that's watching Roxy has an audio button. Kinda like for Springtrap...hmmm. Why would we need that for a "friend" I wonder. Guide the blind Roxy? Could go either way.
@@waspsting2168 I remember playing the game and wished there was a way to save the animatronics and reprogram them from the hacking, and they could team up with you to unlock special areas or get you through certain obstacles
I think the Roxy walkie talkie is just to talk to Gregory considering Cassy yells for Gregory to run and Roxy can be seen roaming on the camera which Freddy never did also sorry but I gotta say it Roxy holds her arm not hand
@@the_criminal_mastermind oh dude i wish. One idea I had is like select your starter. Seeing that each animatronic (except Freddy) has an ability. You choose your partner and the rest of the game goes normal. Example being you have Roxy as a friend and have her eyes from the start. But now you need to get the rest of the parts from the other three. Different voice lines and interactions for the same scenarios. I can dream. Oh well.
FNaF has always been one of my favorite video game franchises, and it's been so amazing to watch it grow from a simple point-and-click game, to multiple huge 3D titles, and even to a movie- I can't wait to see what Scott & the team do next.
