Thanks for sharing your yellow/orange pens. I match a Lamy Safari Mango (1.9 stub substituted) with FWP Buttered Popcorn for flare. I use a TWSBI Eco Heat F with Noodler's Habanero for everyday writing and notetaking. Both are great shading inks. My TWSBI F nib has pleasant feedback. Knock on wood, I have had very good luck with TWSBI nibs.
The only truly yellow pen I have is the Visconti Breeze in Lemon. I like the nib and the magnetic cap, but I can't say that the color is one I would have been likely to choose. It was a great deal for a Visconti, so I snatched it up.
I just inked my first Eco. It is a very nice writer. It does have a Fine nib and it is very smooth. It even does reverse writing. Perhaps the company has updated their nibs. The same can be said for my Narwhal/Nahvalur Schuylkill and Nautilus. That Pen Bloke pen is soo beautiful. What can I say about Leonardo? For Italian pens it is at a reasonable price, given the quality of their resins, their piston filler and their tuned steel nib. Unfortunately my MZG has no ink window 😢. Orange is not a color I collect. It is just something about the color that just doesn't agree with me. Nice overview, though, Garry.
