When I was in the antique business a few years ago, I bought a matched pair of Windsor chairs, beautiful original condition and finish, unrestored dated by the auction house as late 18 century. I couldn’t GIVE those chairs away. They took up space in my shop for a long time. Lovely chairs, but I probably sold them for what I paid for them.
