This is music to my ear! It's a pleasure to help you feel more confident and supported. Feel free to leave me questions on my old videos! I read them and respond to everyone regularly (after my work week)!
Thank you Paula, it's amazing to see how many hard-working viewers out there who are committed in viewing my highly academic (& sometimes boring) YT videos. Please help share my resources to anyone who might find it helpful :)
Thank you for your continuous support, Kothai. 10k is a huge number, but starts from my interaction with every each one of you! My satisfaction comes from how much the frontline researcher like you has felt more confident and happy with research. So, please keep up the hard work on improving yourself :)
Nice tips... important to explain who you are... I got pushed back once as the organisers knew I was staying longer in the city... so wasn't rushing to the airport, etc. So I modified the beginning story 'hook' to comment on many of the earlier speakers... often with a 'same' picture, but of a different incidence, so same species of fish and different anecdote to match.
Why was there a push back? that's seems quite strange to not be supportive that you are making your personal time available for science. Lucky you with beautify animal to show off as a "hook", as a oyster researchers, I always felt a little insecured that my species wasn't as pretty as a fish :)
Do you know Carl Bender from Physics? Here is his talk outline: *Beginning *Middle *End He's so funny, his talks are somewhere on youtube. For the 99% of us who are not witty and can't deliver a joke, I would not suggest using this as an outline.
