This video will focus on five questions to ask a seller when buying multifamily real estate, why these questions need to be asked, and how to use these questions during the negotiation process.
As we progress deeper into the current real estate cycle, most Jake and Gino members I interact with are asking the question: “When (not if) will we have a market correction? We stress in our education that buying right is critical to an investor’s success and one of the goals in buying right is to limit your downside risk.

Jake & Gino, you mentioned Will from “Rand Cap” I’m probably spelling this incorrectly. Is this individual a Mortgage Broker that you frequently use?

Is it good to buy Multifamily deal from MLS?

Absolutely, if you can find one. If the deal has a lot of days on market, and the seller is motivated, great chance to find a good deal!

Usually a buyers agent will not know the answers to those questions.but, I'll start asking. Im having a hard time with realtors not wanting to show the property because of tenants or mak me just go through hoops. They want a written offer and a letter from the bank before me viewing the property. I can't keep calling the bank for a letters. Do you guys have any suggestions. Thx

How can you offer on a property unless you haven't seen some type of numbers?

I am having the same problem. I drove by a multi-unit property, and I asked my realtor if we can schedule a date/time to show me the property inside; per the owner's request they are requesting I put in an offer? It makes no sense put in an offer on a property I have no idea what it looks like inside.
