one of my favorite thing about high-level bouldering videos is randomly catching other high-level climbers just spotting uncredited, e.g. i think that's alex puccio around 3:00?
Give the crew or people or person that made this more jobs, exquisite. Some filler/lifestyle stuff that I have never liked in sports films but the shots were done so beautifully it didnt matter. Great job five ten.
Nina, when you are changing your tire, to get that first movement out of the lug nut. Position the tire iron so that you are rotating it upward, because your lower pack is stronger than your lats (well maybe not your lats, cuz you are a crusher lol)
Supa beautiful everything. I love California for ever. Great vid , can’t wait for a trip up north. Thank you very much, and thank you for the eye candy, boy was there a lot!
A lot of these boulder problems have their crux in the first 10-15 feet, then high slabs to top out. For someone who can climb the V9 crux, the V4 top out is just highballing. But imagine the bottom is removed and someone climbs the V4 at her limit... then it's a 5.12 free solo, imho.
LordFazza I think a lot of people define it by whether you're preparing for a fall, or the plan is just "dont fall because you'll die". I didnt see in this one, but when she did ambrosia she had a mountain of pads and spotters who stayed for the whole climb. Obviously there was still a "no fall zone", and she would have been seriously hurt if it went wrong, but she was prepared to hopefully minimize her injuries in a fall along with doing everything she could to prevent one.
