As an experienced cruiser with 49 to date on 6 different lines, I can tell you that the best thing you can do is to research the ship/line YOU will be on. For example, the "dress code" or lack thereof is totally different on some lines than on others where you may be denied admission to certain restaurants if you don't follow their rules. And then, realize that not all RU-vid videos are accurate (no shade to this one). IF considering Virgin, I'd highly recommend videos by "Where's Walter Cruising,"
Thank you for your comment. You don't have to follow the dress code, as long as you stick to the parts of the ship where it doesn't apply, as explained for P&O cruises in my video. Other cruise lines have their own rules, with many being more relaxed over dress code. Wherever you go, enjoy your holiday.
Thank you for your question. You can start to make bookings for the entertainment & dining on your cruise 10 days before you travel, so the acts will be confirmed by then. Enjoy your holiday.
