As a person with a 5 yo brother that plays botw I can confirm that’s true

I’m the type whose problem is having too many good weapons and afraid to use them because they will break so I thinks to use them when really necessary but it never happens

Where's the type that just wants to explore the whole game, complete every side quests, get all the memories, get at least 300+ or more of every item, and find all 900* korok seeds before completing the main objective??

You forgot the one who just rides their horse around, has all the secret horses, and just does nothing productive.

I'm the one who can beat silver lynels easily and got the full mastersword, but still gets a heart attack when [guardian theme] starts playing

I'm the player that's absolutely terrified of everything so does basically anything you can do in the game instead of going to see Ganon, currently working my way through all the shrine quests :))

Realistically, a naked Link is actually a speedrunner. You can often observe them bonking a boko, which will literally send them flying through the sky at supersonic speed for no reason.

im the player that will always get caught by the yiga clan members, even if its obviously them, just because i want to talk to everyone

I love how the enemies & NPCs are designed, they are full of personalities that you dont feel alone in this world. Unlike some open world games, where the world feels eerie and you have that feeling that something or someone is watching you, this is not the case for Zelda BOTW.

The five-year-olds have the right idea, man. If you feed the dog at a stable different things 3-4 times, it will make a chest appear that the dog will then lead you to as repayment for the food. Several of those chests have stuff like silver rupees in them! Not bad for a few apples and a chicken leg.

Type 6: The Completionist (wants 100%) Type 7: Genocidal Psychopath (me) Type 8: Unnecessary Grinder (over prepares for everything) Type 9: The speedrunner Type 10: The Barbarian (maxed Zonai armor and hunts everything) Type 11: The Cross Dresser (only ever wears vai set)

I'm the kind of player that always has Link dressed with the gerudo outfit unless it's too hot or too cold

im the type of player that tries to complete everything, and i change my armor often cause link looks cool in so many sets, and a combat pro but without any glitches.

I don’t really fit into any of these, I’m more of a stealth kind of player so I’m always wearing the stealth set 24/7 outside of combat.

I guess I'm type 6: the Berserker with ADHD. Can't stay focused on a singular quest because of shiny ore, ingredients, and horses; and literally picks a fight with everything, while always taking the most obscure shortcuts via climbing

What about the type that enjoys side quests, killing bokoblins, cussing out lizfos, dropping rocks on koroks, catching horses, is pro at making food, has none of the Devine beasts free but wants to go fight calamity, basically lives in Garudo town/ Rito village/ Goron city/Zoras domain/ Kakariko or Hanito Villiage, likes cooking fairies, and has no intentions of wanting to save Zelda?

I'm more of what I like to refer to as an "ooga booga" player. Im hardly ever not wearing the Barbarian set, fully upgraded, and spend most of my time with heavy weapons and lynel weapons. Pretty much as high damage numbers as I can get, and if I can't fight it, i'll prolly miss it. But if I CAN fight it, then i'm gonna hunt it down non-stop.

You forgot "the Barbarian" in the Zonai outfit. Maxed out strength. Has no fear. Will run into anything (even a Lynel or a Guardian). Kill and destroy all on it's path. FIREEEE! Also likes to ride a bear

I love how the pacifist player has Mipha's grace, which means he killed Water Blight Ganon🤣🤣

I wanna add type 6 THIS person always dresses up perfectly to the storyline . Example : when they’re in the krog woods, they will only fight with wooden krog weapons. And when they’re in a small village , they will most likely wear the clothes from the beginning (those ripped brown clothes ) When they meet a special person like the kings and queens of each region for the first time, they will wear links clothes ( the blue one with hylia pants ) and only the master sword and hyrule shield . Then they will take a ton of photos and put on the clothes for the region again .

i guess im the minimalist(a form of nudist i guess) played my first blind playthrough refusing to get hearts/stamina, refused to use my map, i mapped the entire world by eye, refused to activate any towers outside the single tower i had to on plateau, refused to use quick travel(as that would require opening the map) never used markers, traveled everywhere either on foot or by horseback and would refuse to use anything better than the warm dublet or anti fire armour for death mountain(cause i got sick of buying potions), also wore a hood cause it looks sick, never used any ancient arrows, disabled every champion skill i got the moment i got it and still have never used the mastersword all these self imposed limits on a first blind playthrough, you can imagine i was running around the place headless for a few 100 hours, got pretty familiar with the world though, i still dont know what the map looks like, even in my mastermode playthrough im in i havent needed to open the map once

im the kind of player that keeps a great flameblade strapped to their back when in cold biomes. and the type to tp out of there when my master sword or hylain shield breaks even though i have lots of other good weapons and shields.

My sister (a 7-year-old), loves Kakariko village so much that she hasn't left the village ever since she found it. It's been more than half a year at this point. She's also scared of fighting monsters so everytime she encounters one she asks me to defeat it for her.

Type 6 - The Role Player Dresses as close to the "canon" Hero as possible, does every side quest, has all of the best gear. Still hasn't and probably never will "beat the game."

I'm the type that always has an inventory full of food and I just tank all my opponent's attacks.

I run around dressed as Tingle terrorizing NPCs and try to register bears at stables.

I wear a hood, but I wouldn’t call myself a combat pro.. I’m also not five years old. I mean it’s just stylish ;-;

I like to put Link in the climbing outfit, because I prefer travelling via climbing ledges and gliding 90% of the time. You avoid enemies, the Bloodmoon and the Yiga clan members when you are climbing hahaha

I feel like I’m a third glitcher, a third of the real pro, and a third of the self proclaimed pro.. sometimes I’m really good at combat, but when I’m first learning something new I just deny that I don’t know how to do it

The fight with the gold lynel was just disappointing. Highest lynel type I can beat in a fight is blue, I am a bit too scared to go any higher. :/ Edit: I'm fighting major strength tests to get good weapons for my fight to get the master cycle. I feel like fighting Ganon knowing that I have a motorcycle. Update: I can fight Silver Lynels and all the Lynel weapon variants. I'm farming materials for the Barbarian set. Well, I was farming materials. If I can fight a silver lynel, I can fight a white lynel, and so on downward.

I'd say I'm somewhere between a pacifist and a glitcher. I'm constantly roaming around trying to find the easiest way to do things without confronting enemies lol

I’m like just here for the story 😅 it was one of my first video games so I didn’t really focus on like the mechanics compared to other games and I definitely avoided conflict at all costs because I was so scared to die. I just loved going through and finding the memories and connecting the story and seeing how deep and bittersweet it is. Botw truly is the best game ❤️

I'm the type to play through the entire game with only three hearts, and then do it again because why not?

I’m always worrying about how Link looks until I’m going into battle at which point _I take out the good gear like ice arrows, stasis+, royal guards claymore and savage lyanel shield and whatever good bow I have on me at that time._ But then after battle I switch back to normal clothing and a simple weapon. I like preserving the old weapons from the beginning because the farther in the story, the less of them you find.

I was the pacifist for so long cause I am, in general, not good at combat. At any game. I got really good at sneaking past anything I didn’t have to fight to progress the main story. Eventually I accepted that I just needed to practice fighting and now I don’t try to avoid fights at any cost. But definitely a pacifist by nature.

I can confirm the "hood" as a BOTW player with a 7 year old sister :'|. Even though I basically played the whole game for her (did all the shrines, got her all her stamina and hearts + the master sword, as well as all her items..she likes to think and say shes a "professional" and is "better then me". Might I add I got her some pretty nice clothing but she still prefers to wear that DumB hOOD

You forgot the explorer who makes it their mission to walk on every piece of available land completely detouring and ignoring the main quests just to enjoy the enormous beautiful world crafted so meticulously detailed that you also just spend time on a mountain top watching the day go by to catch the phenomenal sunrise ❤️

According to my boyfriend, I was the "run through the game as fast as possible, don't talk to anyone except for main objective people, and don't explore as thoroughly as he" Link. I missed A LOT according to him like the Horse God, the Forgotten Temple (which I refuse to go to, thank you very much~), the Coliseum, and the Dark Forest. Oh well, I still had fun with it!

the first one is LITERALLY my cousin she always leaves link shirtless and takes photos and stuff and everytime I let her play on my switch, she goes to my account and makes my link shirtless too

I can confirm this through experience, also for the naked links ( speed runners ) and glitchers you will also find them in their natural habitat (windbombing through the sky) and trying to sheiks surf down hebra mountain with a boko shield and then using a bomb as it break to send them flying.

Good attention to detail with the glitcher there, all 3 of the weapons on the wall are kokiri swords, as there's only a limited number of them you can get and what if he accidentally deletes 2 of them

I'm a mix of the pacifist and a type you missed. The 'Easily Distracted' player. Where you set out with a mission then suddenly you're across the map missing all your shots at the stupid dragons because one decided to spawn in the corner of your vision and hey I need the parts for some things might as well go shoot at them and ow hey I forgot I'm not wearing Majora's Mask because I was going to go fight something and now a Lizalfo won't stop hitting and jumping away why are you so hard to hit and omg hey a Korok puzzle.

I be the flashy player that always goes for style points during playthroughs. Always thinking "what will look the coolest?" during fights and always on short supply of shields from shield surfing.

I am in a happy loop of playing the game for 50 hours or so, getting bored and then coming back a while later to do the whole thing over again.

I'm a challenger type player. Completed Normal Mode, then decided to try to complete Master Mode without dying once, turning off Mipha's Grace, and no use of fairies. If I died once, no matter how far I went into the playthrough, I start over from the beginning. I managed to get it on my first playthrough. Wasn't that hard; Link is just too OP.

I honestly like the other zelda games a lot better. I feel like this game made it so the other games would be left in the dust. It troubles me that most zelda fans dont know about ocarina of time, twilight princess, wind waker, and skyward sword. Just my opinion, I think those games hit a lot different.

Im the type who just LOVES the thrill of the hunt. Like I will go out of my way to find and raid every existing enemy camp/base on the map. I always put a stamp over an enemy base so when there's a bloodmoon I know exactly where to go.
