Excellent video Shaun. Well presented, Good tone of voice, encouraging and pleasant. Focuses on the key prep before even getting behind the boat. Pool prep learning the feeling of floating on their stomachs with the board floating up behind and learning how to righ themselves onto their back is temendous guidance. Great job well done. Thanks for sharing!JK
Great video. My kids were already comfortable wearing PFDs from many years of boating, but the bit about learning to swim while attached to the board, as well as how to turn themselves over in the water was great. My daughter did find it a little better to move at closer to 15-18 MPH for stability, but she was up on her third try (last weekend) and has been bugging me to take her again for the last 4 days. Oh, and damn skippy about yelling, clapping, and making a huge deal about getting up and riding!
Some great tips for helping young ones start. Which I had seen this sooner! No fuss, straight to the point and from a guy who clearly knows what he is talking about. I'm in!
It's a great video and all about being a fantastic parent as well. All about teaching your children to conquer fear and be amazing:) I have a 6 week old and can't wait, thank you!!!!
Everyone shut up and stop complaining. This guy worked for that boat. And it’s possible to wakeboard on almost any ski boat. My dad used to water ski on a 15hp mini ski boat that couldn’t have cost more than $3000.
So my friends who are both ab 125 pounds are trying to learn, I'm a decent teacher and can do many tricks, but can't quite figure out what's happening to them, they are 13/14 so the whole slow speed doesn't really work, anyone know what to tell them?
So because you're too lazy to teach your kids and help build their confidence you'd rather just have them struggle finding out how to do it themselves?
Oh, BTW Shaun, Pay zero attention to the occasional bs comment as it happens....... they have no fricking idea of what you are talking about or trying to achieve! Either no kids or no water skills!
you can do this with a few thousand dollar used boat or a used jet ski for next to nothing. I bought a used wake board in 1998, and enjoy it today in 2018. All the negative comment that say I can't afford a boat is a bunch of crap. Go rent a boat, get off the couch, and go have some fun.
I've gathered from this video that i need an in ground swimming receptacle and a ski boat that costs more than most cars, *then* i can teach my kid to wakeboard. 0/10 video
Strapping your child into a rigid boot connected to a flat perpendicular board is a recipe for knee surgery. Nearly 100% of the competitors on the tour have had at least one knee surgery. For that reason, its a dying sport...
yell and clam and be loud. wow someone wants s child that grows up expecting everything to be handed to her. sounds like oyu want a child to grow up and be a atenchion seeker witch means when the real world hits she will go into depreshion.
If you put in the effort to be a World Champion at something first then you will be able to afford a boat like this . Pretty easy ,whats stopping you ?
