I tried so many things to speed up my laptop but didn't realize that nothing would ever work if my disk was at 100%. This video help get me down to around 5-15% disk usage. The most important steps for my person situation was turning off scheduled optimization. Thank you so much!

Thanks much. The sysmain disable seemed to knock it out. Seems like Microsoft could fix this. Can’t believe they haven’t yet. Had this issue across all my PCs for years.

Hey man, My computer has been running really slow like it’s hardly able to operate. I have had this 100% disk usage problem and believe it is causing my slowness. It has taken me an hour to check for any errors on my ssd. If there is any help for this or if i should just change the optimization setting please let me know. Thanks

Turning off Optimization helped, from 100% down 1% in a snap. It’s fluctuating between 1%-30% depending on the usage. Thank man for the tips.

Try Repairing Windows Search cmd then run as admin and execute the following 3 commands one by one- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Restart. Once Done Trying Running System File Checker SFC Scan sfc /scannow Restart. Windows Updates- Install all the latest Updates and then Restart the PC.

My laptop had exactly this issue where it ran on 100% disc space. I followed all your steps and it surely got better. But it's bouncing from 0-30-60-80-100 then back down and it keeps doing that. The Laptop is newly set up and has no programs on it. Do you have any suggestions what Icould do to improve it even more. Thank you fo the help. Thanks in advance 😊

When I deleted my partition of drives means I deleted my all partition only c drive is there which is my 1TB so when I deleted partion it's trick is really work on my laptop and guy's follow this all steps which only 3 steps it will or can help you really. trust me 🙂😁

in my experience when i at least use my pc 2-3 times a week it never bugs, goes slow, ram disk connection cpu. but if i go 2 weeks offline it always bugs,m and i have a good pc i7-10 16 ram 2080. thanks your vid helped
