Fix "Gigabyte Motherboard" not booting From USB or DVD
In this video, I will show you guys how to fix "Gigabyte Motherboard" not booting any os from pen drive, USB or DVD. My Motherboard Model Number: Gigabyte B360M-D3H

Dude you’re amazing! Just did a motherboard swap and was about to try to find a way to reinstall windows tomorrow. This not only worked but I’m doing a clean install as we speak for all new drivers and such for my Z490! Thank you so much for solving this issue for me.

Here's my problem, since I switched to legacy following the instructions of this video, the pc sometimes boots up, and sometimes it just doesn't, if I restart it enough times it will boot up eventually, but this is not only annoying, I fear breaking something eventually. I did not have this problem before switching to legacy, but of course, before doing that it wouldn't boot at all, just get stuck in the motherboard boot menu. Now I can't see the menu at all, it either starts or it doesn't. Do you by any chance know what's going on with it?

Hey there I have an issue! When I turn on the Storage boot option and other PCI devices into legacy I press F10 and save the changes but, when i go back in the bios it return in UEFI settings why?

when I insert a nvme in my gigabyte bios it resets bios on every boot and boots twice to get in windows, if the bios was already on defaults as well. not sure how to fix this secure boot is disabled and tpm is disabled as well ?

4 years on and still helpful. I'll add one more tip. Under BIOS you will need to disable Secure Boot (last option) and enable CSM Support. If you don't disable secure boot, on restart CSM will be disabled again.

I don't have a dvd and bios menu keeps on showing. How do I set my boot option priority to the ssd in which Windows is loaded?? There is no option of boot priority in bios menu.

It is trying to boot that means you don’t have graphics remove the m.2

I have a older gigabyte motherboard, i have the primary hard drive set but if i have more then 1 drive in the computer it will not go past the gigabyte logo screen. After I disconnect the hard drives "external also" it will load windows. After it loads windows if I hook the hard drives back up it will shut off the usb ports so I cant use keyboard, mouse, internet, or my external drives if more then 1 external drive is hooked up. My computer does not have wifi so i have a usb adapter. the 2g adapter works but it is very slow, when I hook up the 5g adapter after about 2 minutes all the usb drives are shut off and I cant do anything with out restarting and unplugging all the hard drives but the main. How do I fix this, I have a I7core with 32 gigs of memory gigabyte motherboard

Put this board in as an upgrade for my PC, was using an existing SSD and this worked flawlessly. Saved changes in BIOS and it instantly booted up. Thanks!

I have huge issues with gigabyte and w10 support,simply doesnt recognize bootable usb after BIOS setting,sistem says no media device,i tried a lot of changes in bios ,tried in uefi mode,tried in legacy mode,simply doesnt work good with windows,i have some Altos 8gb/ram mashine.

Thank you so much I thought I’m gonna reinstall my windows and this works on my b560m aorus pro, I assume they change the option in newer gigabyte mobo as there’s no bios option in the bios, but instead the csm option is listed under the boot option, hope this helps whoever that can’t find the boot option

CSM support was under favorites for my bios version. Once enabled, I used uefi settings for the storage boot options. Working with uefi 8/29/20. Gigabyte Z490M
