Hi guys ! First of all excuse my bad English, I'm trying to improve XD.
I was losing hope but I finally managed to play Elden Ring on my old pc.
With this fix you can play even if you have a slightly old video card (like gtx 750, 850,950... or similar.
In my case GTX 950 m (pc portable), which are cards that only support directX with Feature Levels 11, instead of 12_0 as requires the game.
A huge thanks to tuffee88 who released this fix for everyone on Github.
And to Elden Ring GTX 750TI channel who directed me on this one.
If the Anti Cheat gives you problems you will not be able to play online for now.
As soon as I find a solution, I will update you!
If you run into any problems you can take a look at the videos I uploaded previously, where I show the various things I did before being able to play.

Important: start the game directly from the .EXE icon present in the game folder otherwise you may have errors and not be able to play. first thing to work so far... but alas cannot play online still so mildly defeats my purposes (having gotten it to play with my friend group). I guess onto seeing if I can find another solution, though unlikely. Weird part is that I can run DX12 on 12_1 and 12_0, so I am not sure why it would not run normally and this works.

Tried checking absolutely everything I could find 😋 Lucky for me, the multiplayer mod me and my friends are using already works differently, so I was able to play with them while having these files in the folder to make it work. Unfortunately, every system is different and the game can cause incompatibility problems with some drives. Make sure you have updated the game, window, and graphics card drives, such as c ++ redistributables. I recommend, start the game from the EXE in the game folder

@@Hito.Mp4 i'm sorry but you have to disable anti cheat with text document, otherwise you won't be able to play with this method. You can create shortcuts, but they must always point to the exe in the game folder. Starting it from Steam would not work

What about your fps ? i also have GTX 950M i am almost about the finish ds3 and i would love to give elden ring a try. My system is GTX 950M i5 6300HQ 8GB Ram.

Hi, if I keep the graphics settings low I have no frame problem (selecting the automatic Low option, and then raising: anti aliasing to max, light medium / max, texture medium, grass medium, even if you vary the settings a little no problem notable, maybe every now and then it slows down for a moment when loading a new area). now i'm playing having raised also: ssao medium, global lighting quality medium, volumetric quality medium, light quality max. So I can play without problems, sometimes I rarely freez for a few seconds, but it hasn't happened often. i have i74720hq and 4gb v-ram.

Don't start the game from steam. instead start it directly from eldenring.exe present in the game folder. to me in this way it does not give error. also make sure that you have correctly deactivated easy anti cheat. if it doesn't work like that, you could take a look at this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tpy5MKWfzok.html where I also explain a second method. tell me if it works

are you in the right folder? to be sure, from steam, try going to the game icon in the library, right-click and choose "manage" "browse local file". the folder where the game is actually installed will open

try to decrease the graphic settings, also check there is no program that uses the active gpu. I have no problem with the game but when I start obs study the common enemies, even if in front of me they disappear. closed obs returns to normal

if you already have the game, it costs nothing to try. but you won't have good performance. but if you set the graphics to a minimum you might be able to play it. I don't recommend buying the game with this graphics card

@@wildkatana5680 thanks bro, I removed all my gtx 760 driver then do a clean install and it works! Looks not bad on GTX 760, my pc can play at 1080 Medium quality 45fps with motion blur low.

@@wildkatana5680 gtx 760 can run on Maximum Quality at 1280x720 anh High at 1366x768, Medium with 1920x1080 (anti alisaing and motion blur off, shadow low). Average 35-40 fps!

@@vinhphu1977 I was wondering which video settings have the most impact on graphics / performance. your card is quite better than mine. I wanted to try to record something but as soon as I start OBS studio recording the common enemies disappear. luckily without OBS it doesn't happen

i have 16 gb ram and gpu with 4gb. in the task manager it indicates that the game uses about 2 gb of ram for the gpu, and about 8/9 gb of normal ram. I set the game to a minimum except for texture and depth of field which I raised a bit. in 6/7 hours I had 3 crashes but I can play well with almost no slowdown (at first it had in the stuter every now and then, now they are gone)
