You got to try tribotex that stuff fixed my blowby and turned valve train in our LS2 in a no time. It is nanoparticles that are ceramic as well but flat and have two different sides sticky and slippery so it builds up on top of flat surfaces.
Um blown rings or blow by... Blow by due to stuck rings due to dirt grit sludge rust.. Mystery oil breaks it loose displaces it removes it . it runs . if your broke and cant afford to pull engine it works.. Broke rings wont fix ...
Ok now, the blow by on my 1995 Ford F250 is so bad that tons of oil and white smoke shoots out of the deep stick tube and the oil fill cap. I relay need to know if this think will work or if i should just drive it down to the junk yard.
Marin R Hey Marin, I'm a little behind on getting the video for phase two together, but so far I've put 250 miles on the truck and I'm supposed to put up to 1000 before oil change and next add. But, I had the same type of HUGE blow-by like yours and that seems to have quit. What I've been most surprised about is the fact that the truck has definitely picked up some extra horses. Marin R read my comment above, but also check your oil for any water, if there's white smoke coming out of there, you might also want to check the head gasket. It wouldn't be a tough thing to do on that truck, pretty straight forward. But, the Certech would definitely stop that blow by from what I'm experiencing.
I did though that my head gasket may be damaged as well, but interestingly there are no air bubbles coming out of my radiator or white sludgy residue anywhere - although with the way my oil is splashing out that will be hard to buildup. Also when i rev the engine i barely get any smoke from the tailpipes, which should be a cloud in my mind with the amount of blow-by and smoke I'm having at the engine. But I'll give the Certech a try, although it will take me forever to do 1000 miles since I've been avoiding driving the truck anywhere farther than the Home Depot, in case it brakes down and i have to tow it back home with my wife's Prius.
Marin R My truck wasn't really blowing any smoke out the tailpipe when the blow by got real bad. I've also noticed that I'm starting to see a pickup in horsepower just after having put 150 miles on the thing after this treatment. By the way, IF you break down and have to tow it with the Prius...please please please make a video of that! :)
