What was the original problem with the projector that was fixed by the tag-on flex cable? If the projector is damaged, how can that be fixed with the Tag-on Flex cable?
exactly that’s my question, what does a fused dot projector actually mean, there’s no work done to the dot projector for this repair so it means there’s nothing physically wrong with it? the tag on flex just somehow bypasses some check the phone does?
So when I’m trying to repair a Face ID. I follow these steps: 1) plug in flex, plug 108 into computer 2) hit test: everything says abnormal except NTC & I2C, they say normal 3) then I hit back up, that’s successful 4) plug a108 into power 5) then I hit activate, the process starts then I get a message that says: “Abnormal, please remove extension flex cable, or use chip to repair” How do I resolve this issue? Is there a support forum ?

Нет, просто есть цепи с высоким напряжением, на программаторе нет стэп ап преобразователя. Либо память размещена в одном корпусе с микросхемой требующей 19-24 вольта, что применимо к подсветкам , коей и является дот проектор. Для чего нужен таг он ? Для того же, для чего и подобный шлейф при замене батареи- подменять данные на шине, что якобы фокус не имеет проблем.

Ok, I just bought RP30 and there is no " High Voltage Power Cable". What voltage this should this be? Also "Snap the dot projector cable to the programmer" is missing, I have only a cable that needs resoldering. Please advice!

Afaik it's a bypasser, the charge gets through and communicates with the PCB the health and cycles, preferably 100% and 0 respectively. It's a solution for refurbish shops.

Can someone explain the actual cause of the fused dot projector? how does this happen? does apple just randomly disables the dot projector? by looking at this repair it looks like the there’s nothing physically wrong with the dot projector and the tag on flex just bypasses the check apple uses to disable the dot protector?
Due to the high sensibility of the sensor and the all camera module in general, it can break very easily if the phone drop on salty water or from high heights
@@Saleh94S cause the data where stored into the cable, before this metod the only metod avaible was micro-soldering the old cable on the new face-id module, btw you can repair the face id only if the dot projector cable work
@@Saleh94S sure, open the camera and go to potrait mode on front camera, if the square become yellow, the dot projector work, or a second way is : go to front potrait mode and with a second phone open the camera and aim to the notch if you see a red light beside the front camera ( on the notch) the dot work, but just the cable without opening no im sorry
