Fix: FIFA 20 not Opening/Launching Error 

I follows the steps but the problem still persists. Is it because I have windows 7 os?

It still not working I hate EA rn.

Repair -> go offline -> go online worked for me.

When everything fails .. redownload the game

@@levilemidvisual8540 I have 2019 Cracked and Bought 2020 .. After Update I'm unable to start 2020 .. it's ridiculous . When it worked there were many hiccups in performance.. and having to be online to play the game is ridiculous too

Try changing DirectX setting inconfig.ini from 0 to 1 in documents/fifa20 folder.

@@AndreMendesrn cara eu fiz o seguinte e funcionou: No meu caso começou a dar isso quando travou o jogo e tive que fechar a força. Pra arrumar eu desinstalei o FIFA mas mesmo assim não foi, o que resolveu de vez foi desinstalar e excluir a pasta que fica em documentos "FIFA 20", provavelmente fica algum cache como se o jogo estivesse em aberto mas na realidade ele foi fechado incorretamente.

@@AmirPGM After following this video, I further fixed it by going into the my documents folder of my PC, finding the FIFA 20 folder that the game installed there. In that folder you may see one or more configuration documents that open with notepad/wordpad. After you open it you will see a bunch of commands, one of them should say "Direct X" followed by a 0. Change that to a 1 and save the document. Close it and then the game should run. That worked for me

Bro this worked for me too but did you find a way around? Because i really wanna play with controller, FIFA isn't the same without it
