I can’t believe I didn’t see the valve pop off and drop to the bottom of the tank. I thought the whole thing was about to go into the trash lol. Thank you!
I'm about to go look in a bottle that is still filled with cleaner. I will report back. Update: You saved my mop!! I was so disappointed, I bought extra pads for this thing and everything! It's working as designed now. Thank you for your public service! 🙌👏🙏
Does anyone know where can I get the valve replacement? I got a cleaning business and some clients just let us use spray mop, but unfortunately my employees aren’t careful and keep loosing valves and I need to buy another bottle replacement
Thank you so much. I found that black rubber piece on the floor but couldn't stop the leaking. I had no idea where it went but knew it was why it was leaking. I was about to trash the whole mop. Thank you!!
Thank you!! Life saver cause I didn’t know where the rubber piece came from and didn’t know how it was to be put back in place and tried everything but this. Thank you 😊 !!
I use a piece of art eraser! I’ve already thrown one mop away.. got a second one and water everywhere.. I never saw this little stopper valve.. so I improvised This could very well be a marketing ploy.. so tired a buying poorly made “stuff”
I use a floor cleaner solution in my bottle so the little piece keeps falling back in. Guessing this is why they said water only (reacts with this black piece, causing it to loosen more easily/sweel and not stay put) So I bought a foot of pvc tubing from the hardware store and put it in for the length of the bottle. You get a little burp when you first flip the bottle around but after that you’re good til the next refill!
OH MY GOD NO WAY. i was like “there’s no way this thing is in the bottle i just filled it up yesterday i wouldve noticed.. let me check” AND I’LL BE GODDAMNED IF THAT PIECE WASNT IN THE BOTTLE!!! wow. you’re a real life wizard. and so eloquent too. you deserve a nobel prize and i’m not even exaggerating

Thank you so much. It helped me a lot . And fixed my problem in one min. Actually i wasn't aware about the valve in it. And i got the valve from the floor and i was about to throw it out . And my spray mop started leaking. If i hadn't seen this video , i would have thrown the valve out and my spray would have been of no use . Thank you so much...
I don't have the red cone spikey that's in the very center. I'm wondering how and when the heck it broke off Edit: I found it!!! I heard a rattling sound, took off the 4 screws at the base on the stick, inside the red cone, and there it was, a metal spring and red spikey thing within it. 🎉😂❤ THANK YOU! I hope my comment helps someone else
This was the most helpful video without saying a word! Yep I found the little black piece at the bottom of the dispenser. 👍. I was about to chuck the whole thing! Thank you for posting!
Remove valve. Put a teensy dab of super-glue on the base (not the valve), maybe two. Take care not to put any on the hole. Replace valve. Press down to make it tight. Wait 24 hours. Presto! Loctite Ultragel Control has a nice dispenser tip for the teensy dab of glue.
Great tip if I have any issues in the future. Thank you. But, I just purchased one and connected the center part of the handle upside down. Any ideas on how to disconnect the two pieces so I can reconnect it properly? I can't get the little gray clip to retract. I'm very upset.
No -- just illustrating what often happens on its own -- which is why you should look inside the bottle for the dislodged valve, retrieve it, and put it back on the raised hole in the cap. Sorry for any confusion -- I should have started the video that way, with the valve rattling around inside the bottle.
😂 I can't believe I'm so thick. I knew there would be something in the hole to prevent leaking, like a little rubber cuff or something. I filled the hole with superglue then use a needle to punch a tiny hole in it instead. Was quite proud of myself but then checked the bottle and found the rubber diaphragm thing in the bottom 😂😂😂
I didn't know there was a little black piece that was supposed to be attached to that hole so that's why it started leaking. I'm going to have to find a way to fix that. What is the name of that piece? I need to try and find it.
