THANK YOU SO MUCH! Did a complete reinstall of Windows 10 on a '14 x99 platform system with an i7. ASUS and INTEL'S websites were NO HELP with this. This download had the x99 chipset listed as applicable. It fixed the "Base System Device" missing drivers.
thank you bro, i have been crashing consistently (bsod) even after reinstalling windows 3 times, ended up going to my device manager to see this symbol on it and found this video. the yellow symbol is gone so i hope this solved my problems 🙏

@@techdecode85 I have a 12th Gen i7, an MSI mag z790 tomahawk board, a 4060 ti, and Windows 10. I have tried installing every kind of driver from Intel and MSI and your video and so many other things. I cannot get the issue to go away. Please help.

@@techdecode85 It did not fix the Base System Device, but another Unknown Device is fixed now. I also have a Network Controller error along with the Base System Device. Can't seem to find a way to fix it. But thank you
@@froogmaster7869 Check for any pending Windows Updates. May be a driver from there can fix the issue. However, I will recommend you to download and install all the drivers from the Official Website (link shared earlier) when you perform a clean installation of Windows next time. All the best!
This basically relates to the chipset device of the motherboard. Chipset device has a connectivity with display driver. Therefore, a missing base system device driver can lead to Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error unexpectedly.
