I rarely comment on youtube videos but I couldn't resist on this. It has been a week of going back and forth with Safelinks (Tracfone) horrible customer service. The last person I spoke to barely spoke any English. They made me change my network mode multiple times and reset my network settings. Not once did they tell me that I should change my APN. Changing my APN solved my issue instantly. You are a true lifesaver! Thank you so much!
Just went threw the same hell! 9 hours day an half, panic attacks n nothing. This dude fixed phone in 5 mins. I mean how in the F!! I tipped him was well worth it!

You did help. My newest revelation is that I didn't buy mobile data the first round. It was text and talk. That makes sense. But now it's showing I have a plan with mobile data that still isn't working. My guess is that the new plan will take over once the old one expires. We'll see...!

The APN settings helped me out thank you soo much man, I've spent 2 months on the phone on and off with straight talk and they never once suggested this.
Smart man right here......i had phone and text capabilities but no internet....went to APN settings and it wasnt even turned on.... turned it on and no problems after that.

Thanks a bunch!!!!… I had recently got a new tracfone… Motorola Moto g Pure in 9/16/22 and kept noticing I did not have any internet while on the road. I changed the APN setting to VZWINTERNET and my mobile internet is now working.

Thanks for this, for some reason my phone has been able to do everything except access it's data after switching to a different Straight Talk Plan 3 days ago, changing the APN solved my issue.
No way!? For fuck sake... Lol this has been an issue for me ever since total wireless switched over to total by verizon. I've bought 2 different SIM cards and even brought my phone into a Verizon location, nothing worked. After watching this my phones mobile internet connection switched on with in 2seconds. Tried all this didn't work. Got the automated help from straight talk wireless their stuff didn't work. Sutfed the web and found an APN page that describes what you demonstrated for my phone. Tried changing it as you suggested again. For some reason it kept going back to the other setting. Finally i discovered that the 3 dots in the corner button open up a reset option and restarted the phone and it worked. It actually changed to what you suggested but would not let me manually enter and change. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Holy shit I was on the phone with Net10 for 4 hours they didnt ever tell me this, even though i suggested to change the apn and just didnt know which one to change to. THIS WORKS!!!!

@@LurkerDood I left straight talk months ago & am with Visible Wireless. Couldn't be happier, faster speeds and unlimited everything including hot spot, for less $ per month. Their live chat support has been a joy by comparison to ST support also!

That worked! Nothing I've found so far has helped, but when I saw you steps I vaguely remembered I'd found those in a forum or something (for a different Tracfone). The other phone would work, but only by turning off wifi.. Go figure. Anyway my new phone is working normally right now thanks to your comment. I'm going to have to save it somewhere because this seems like a thing with tracfones. 🙄
THANKS A BAZILLION!!! For the past week, a Walmart electronics associate had me convinced that this was a "Network" problem that was affecting all "pre-paid" Verizon-linked products, and that it was merely a 'Waiting Game' before everything was up & running again. Thanks to this tutorial, it turned out that the problem was traced back to my APN having somehow inexplicably gotten deactivated -- that probably was actually a (if not "the") "Network" disruption issue that resulted in that! Had I tried to have a Tracfone Customer Service Rep assist me in trying to figure this out, she would've had me WASTING nearly Two Hours of my Time and Money before arriving at a solution -- I know this, because that's how long I was left hanging when I had a similar issue with a different model of phone on their Network! Guess "Tracfones" are the "CHEAPEST" option among pre-paid phones for a reason. ~ Thanks again! 👍
