My 2017 ford ranger xls manual 2.2, 3 yrs stock, 4 years remmap with full exhaust, so far so good naman. 120k odo. Maybe mag matter talaga ang pag alaga. Thats all i can say.
For the Sport 4x4 naman, the manual handbrake is not hard to pull and is very manageable in stop-and-go traffic kahit babae. Just put the automatic gear shifter into neutral and pull on the handbrake when it’s stop and then put to the gear to drive and release the handbrake when it’s go. Cold air from the front vents easily reaches the rear passengers kahit 3 sila sa likod and it’s cold enough that you sometimes need to raise the thermostat to lessen the cooling. It’s just a matter of aiming the front vents. The thing with having a 4x4 is that is not just meant to be used for “offroad” or trailing or anything hardcore that comes to mind. Kahit sa simpleng backing up on an elevated and slightly slippery ramp or getting out of the sand in the parking lot sa beach or nahulog ang isang gulong sa manhole or something, magagamit mo cya. It’s there when you need and is very useful when you need it. 6-speed automatic lang din ang Sport 4x4 and it’s also economical as long as you don’t replace the tires with big and heavy ones. The stock fog lights though, kahit sa wildtrak 4x4 at ranger raptor are all very weak.
@@johnapollo2944 , going 20 months na sir. Next Gen Ranger Sport 4x4 (current year model). Averaging 2,500kms per month sa byahe sa mga LGU sa Mindanao. Mixed family and delivery truck ang purpose. No problems so far. Just bring to the casa every 10K kms for preventive maintenance including change oil and oil filter. No longer following the oil life indicator since it will take 20K kms for the indicator to recommend oil change which I think no branded fully synthetic can go.
I have this truck wildtrak 4x4 and I plan to buy the mazda 3, been watching your videos previously. I think these 2 would be a complete package already for city driving and out of town adventures. 👌🏻
My family has been owning Fords since the 70s. Till the Expedition popularity in the 90s from actors and politicians, till this new Generation Fords like the Mustang and Everest and Rangers. Very good vehicle. Those people who hate FORD just can’t aFORD a FORD since in the Philippines, it is perceived to be a luxury brand unlike the generic, Toyotas and Mitsubishis. Btw, it was revealed that the conspiracy of hating and maligning Ford, came from the sales agents of the other brands and also the second hand sellers.
some people who don't like fords are just being practical ya know, they needed a car with low maintenance. here in new york I've seen more japanese cars, mostly mazda and toyota than ford, dodge, cadillacs etc. I asked a friend of mine who owns a camry said that he could save a lot of money in the future if he doesn't change a car every 4-5 years. and he could do a lot with savings he earned after years. more tech = more problems tignan mo kung bakit one of the best selling cars ang vios at wigo, because they're cheap to maintain and very reliable. Mga tao naman kasi they need a car that will take them from point A to point B. that's why I understand these people who don't like fords, they needed a car na subok na para sa everyday life, and hindi sakit sa ulo sa future. Expensive naman talaga ang maintenance ng ford, mga owners nan usually change cars every 4-5 years. pero karamihan sa pinoy they want a car that will last hangga't tuma takbo pa, ang mindset sa kanila is that bakit bibili pa kung gumagana pa naman at walang issues? sayang na sayang ang pera, magagamit yung perang yun sa mas kinakailangan na mga bagay. not everyone is as rich as you. and oh, mga Ford noon ay of course reliable. why? because it's not too advanced in technology, yung pagkakagawa sa kanila ay just simple. and mga brands noon patibayan talaga para makabenta eh, ngayon puro collaboration na.
Ford is such a pain in the ass dude.. I love ford, but toyota proves they are more durable and reliable. My dad's early 2000's toyota supra is still freakin alive and performes like a brand new supra...
We left our Ranger WT4x4 for 3 weeks at a time twice last year when we went on vacation. No issues talaga, nag-start agad pagdating namin sa bahay. 18 months na Ranger namin and still using original battery.
ayus ford focus. We got the 2011 2.0 DCT Diesel varaint. Ngayon, sira transmission. Mag error message transmission failure maski natakbo naman maayos ang badtrip dun, mag lo low power bigla then no choice itatabi then the restart after couple of minutes, takbo ulit. 80-100kph lang usual cruising speed sa slex. Major badtrip dito is that transmission replace/repair quotation by Ford Alabang was around Php200k. Eh more or less baka 300k nalang resale value for a complete working ford focus so better na pabulukin nalang kesa ipa repair.
wildtrak has a bigger screen , auto hold function best when its traffic to have that 😊 , power seats, black roof liner, sports bar at the back . aircon vents at the back , folding cup holders on the side , things the sport does not have 😊 but the sport is the best value for me
Ford Everest and wild truck looks very good but i little bit worry bka kase hnd ko kayanin maintenance. Is it true mas mahal sya i maintain compare to Toyota?
i been binge watching your videos, and i love your mazda 3, terra videos. ford everest is really what i want for my first car, and I'm very near to decide purchase one(will be test driving one in BGC ford this weekend :D). I'm just very scared because all of my peers are saying its a headache to own a Ford :( please help me choose between terra or a everest. (max budget is 2.2m)
honestly dont be scared on what u hear or see online especially 👍😊 trust what you want I suggest drive both suvs in all honesty id go for the everest just way easier to drive better looking especially the interior :) for 2.2m u can get the 4x2 sport terra or the 4x2 titanium everest .. third option and for me the one I would go for thats not a diesel and cheaper maintenance as its free oil changes and filters for 5 years is the cx8 which is that price as well
its too early to judge any car or truck below 100 thousands kilometer,After 100 Thousand kilometer diyan na lalabas ang mga weakness at sakit ng ulo ng ng mga sasakyan, diyan mo makikita ang presyo ng piyesa ng Ford at baka sabihin mo sa sarili mo na sana Toyota or Isuzu truck na lang sana ang binili mo,but if you dont mind paying the price of spare parts, its ok,we all have choices in life.
I think both are not far off from each other . the raptor will definitely be heavier so in city driving I would assume the ranger raptor will sip a little more gas . but in the highway because of the 10 speed auto it will do better in terms of mileage 👍 but it also will depend how you drive 😊
Most drivers of puvs; uv express, jeepneys, tricycles and buses, singit nang singit na hindi gumagamit ng turn signal, considering mga professional driver's license holder mga yan.. 😅🤦♂️
I think it's how the owner maintain the car. Car can't break by itself unless it's a lemon or suffered from abuse... I'm also not a fan of the start stop system 😂 imo that's THE WORST feature ever invented in cars. The engine would wear out quickly if you turn on the engine and turn off the engine everytime. Keep safe always man! 😊👍❤
I owned 2016 ford wildtruck,sa mahigit 6yrs..d pa nmn ako binigyan ng sakit sa ulo..nasa pag alaga lng.yan sir...kahit anong anong brand kahit toyota pa yan..
