Is there a way to "replace/upgrade" the original camera lens with a better lens taken from some other high-end camera or a lens purchased from ebay/amazon and make the PTZ camera have more focus and zoom quality???
Please tell me that was your camera and that your not charging someone to fix that Dome? I don't care what kind of Anti Static Dryer sheets you use in your dryer that was most damaging to my mind watching you put this Circuit board and camera on that towel or throw blanket.. WOW then in the video later I see your messing with things on a Carpet with Socks only on. OMG Please don't tell me you do this kind of Work for a living... Nice belt and just so you know there are loads of Belts out there that fit that. Sure they are from China but you can get them from Really Small to much larger then this. I have a Old LTS PTZ that my Belt looked just like your old one lol... Very sad we can't find out what kind of hardware is used on things before we buy... I have another PTZ dome heater and blower same size as my LTS from another company with Samsung Module 37x in it that is 2 years older then my LTS that sees more PT and belts are like Brand new... While I will admit it was 800 more costly and Hardware looks well made compared to my LTS or yours to be honest... Big Plastic Gear? WOW All of mine are Aluminum and brass or something that color anyway lol... Static Kills Boards... The Micro Controllers to repair that isn't going to be something you will find and can't build that from an open belt lol.... Hope that thing still works and I hope you don't do that type of work come the next time you need to work on something Electronic...
No I do not do this for a living. This was a 5 year old unit that I wanted to fix because I am too poor to afford a new one. In fact it is mounted outside three stories up and works great now. Better than the original belt. Very proud of myself in fact. I wouldn't know a resistor from a transistor.
@@jfcrow1 I am very happy it works. I am happy that you was able to make this belt. I make loads of thing but when I tried to make my own belt from open ended belt I couldn't lol. So I bow to you. I think had mine been wider I might have been able to but 4mm wide have holding issues. So I had mine out of service like 6mo until I found pre made belts. Sadly all to wide but I pulled the trigger and bought some and cut it down to fit the width. Not easy. I admit wish mine was as easy to take apart had to take my slip wire out both sides lol what a pain remembering how to put back together was fun lol. Glad yours works guess take my comment as a what not to do for others.with my luck had I did any of that to make repairs I would have blown it up.. these to costly to take the risk.
@@revo2maxx Thanks. I did try to buy the belt. The dimensions were very odd and nobody sold. Yes the width is a problem you are correct. Even though my original belt was 96 teeth by 4.5 mm width by 2.5 mm pitch, I could only find 6mm width and cut it down. Took some time to learn the best approach. Overall I liked the camera very much but it was almost useless without PTZ capability. I am not saying this is the best approach. I am only trying to contribute to the community and say this did work for me maybe if you are skilled try it, If you have no alternative.
