They first way helped out when I had bought something from steam but couldn’t download it, your tutorial was a lifesaver thanks so much you earned a sub!
@EnriqueCal still nothing has worked brother. Steam launcher is not getting opened. Can i play game GTA-5, even without opening it's launcher?? I have downloaded it in my External Hard drive, from my friend's PC. (Who has Windows 7) Please somebody help me...😢😢😢
The only couple of things that I can think is that or is a problem with steam or with windows. The recommendation I can give you is first to try to uninstall steam and remove all the files and folders manually that stay after the uninstall, make a backup of any files or saves you need. And the other option will be to format your drive and install Windows once more. And everything else that you have. Again making a backup to an external drive of any personal files or anything that you don’t want to loose
i guess these tricks no longer work for steamy pile of shit anymore, because i just tried all of these ideas and i'm still locked out of steam, well i guess i'm going to have to do the stupid uninstall reinstall process, i sent a help ticket to steam, but i doubt they will get back to me anytime soon. EDIT: i had to unfortunatly do the uninstall and reinstall of this, it sucks but it's what you got to do when things on steam don't work.
@@devilman_maniac25 i have the exact same problem now, i managed to get it to an earlier version. then tried to play a game and its asked me too Update steam to play it. so i did and now im back to square one again, would love to hear if anyone manages to sort it
@@jonstimpson9481 maybe its a problem that is concerning some people. I played helldivers 2 than the game or something crashed and than steam won’t open again only showing updating and than nothing
Glad I'm not the only one steam seems totally borked for me doesnt launch at all just verifies installation for a split second before closing. Nothing in task manager to even close down, restarts and reinstall of steam does nothing as well
Reply with this comment with "Just fixed at this moment holy shit! When I updated steam wouldnt open, so I removed power cable and changed my DATE and TIME all this before steam runs on task manager, after that the login screen popped up. Fixed!!! 2024" if your gay
Just fixed at this moment holy shit! When I updated steam wouldnt open, so I removed power cable and changed my DATE and TIME all this before steam runs on task manager, after that the login screen popped up. Fixed!!! 2024
This video tutorial did not work for me, the only thing that DID work was as follows: Download the latest version of the steam client and install it over the top of your old steam in the exact same place, then you'll have to sign in again and set the client up again but your entire library will still be there. That's the only thing that worked for me.
Steam does not ope at all. It is seen on task manager but any window wont show up. I have tried the admin method > nothing, the flushconfig method> nothing. basically all the methods in videos. What should I do?
It unfortunately happens to me all the time. I've been looking for a fix for months. Nothing has worked. The only thing that works (highly impractical) is to reformat your pc. It works for me since most of my things are saved in the cloud but very frustrating this ever even happens. I'm at a point I'm having to reformat 2 times a week. I'm not sure if this is a Valve (steam) issue or what, but they need to seriously address this. What's even stranger is the fact that I can log into my GeForce Now acct and play every compatible steam game without any hiccups. I heard that it has something to do with Google drive and to permanently disable/uninstall the service. I haven't tried this method but it's my next one. Hopefully it works. Good luck to you
This did nothing for me. I've uninstalled, I've reinstalled, I've cleared appdata. I've moved to different drives, it will not open no matter what I do. It always partially loads "verifying installation" and then does nothing. Nothing I do will change it. I've deleted all the files, restarted my computer, nothing.
@3506 I found out my issue... Steam doesn't like the display driver for my Ethernet/Display/USB dock... The instant I plug it in Steam's client crashes. EDIT: I was wrong! It was my Razer Tartarus Pro keypad!! If you have one, try uninstalling the "extended Xbox controller support" feature in Steam under the Controller settings, and restarting the computer. Then you should be able to plug it in and Steam shouldn't crash!!
@@avva4090 Thank you bro, you just made my day. It seems like a few razer devices can cause this to happen as i have the razer huntsman v2. I swear these keyboards are always causing trouble.
Windows 11- fix for situation with external display. - Open steam - Change display from 1/2 from duplicate display to extend - Change back to duplicate display Fix for a case when you have only one Monitor connected to your PC: - open Steam - press and hold button on on your keyboard: Windows then press P. Windows will try to duplicate your screen without success - but steam will appear
so ive verified my email legit like 14 times and they also didnt allow me to enter a password. if you think im lieing try logging into steam with a new gmail account WITHOUT a phone connected to the account
If you are having problems with more than one program it can be that a .dll or another file is corrupted or missing from windows that steam or discord I need to use. I recommend that you try to repair files in windows first and try it and as a last resort to reinstall it fresh but backup your files
I thought my laptop was running slow, but I found out that other people are also experiencing the same issue with the stem update. I will give this a try and hope that it works
Gracias! Eres el primero que me dice Quique desde hace tiempo y más importante que lo escribe correcto! Muchas veces lo leo con k. Si no es mi primer idioma. Espero que no halla molestado
Can't clear Steam cache; command doesn't work. Comes up with Windows looking for a program to run the command, won't recognize Steam as a viable choice.
Thank you for this video! The Process Tree tactic was the way to go! I've had this problem for years and thanks to you I finally have the answer to my annual problem.
I’m trying to play a game it won’t open and steam won’t either it’s been recently today keeps closing out or going black but it keeps coming back to the game people say it’s probally corrupted files so I don’t know what to do
@@EnriqueCal bruh i was having a stroke with steam, it would open but when i click on a different section it would freeze up completely. i went to step 2 and there was like 40 things of web helper whats shocking is that those didnt go away when i reinstalled steam yesterday but for some reason ending the process works, how weird is that?
Hi, I have Steam and even without it being installed on the PC it starts, but now it's been causing startup problems for a while, what should I do? Because deleting Steam also deletes the games and I would like to avoid this, is there a way to avoid losing them, i.e. to avoid having to go back and download them?
@@simplify-z3g yes have nothing to do with the games. The only difference is that you will need to manually open steam when you want to use it. Open Steam Settings from Steam menus at the top, go to Interface section. And disable the "Run Steam when my computer starts"
Intenta reparar windows. Y si no ayuda has un back up de toda la información y archivos importantes que tengas en el pc y tendrías que formatear y volver a instalar todo. Lo siento, es difícil si no tengo el pc en frente mio
