To improve the Honda elements ride what would you recommend replacing rear shocks ,rear upper control arm ,rear axle, any other bushes you could replace back there, keep up The great work, nice video
Hi, I have the same problem with my Element. What parts did you use and where are they available? Will you do a follow up video installing bushing for the transfer case? Thanks!
Hi enjoyed the video and tell me when that axle came out, abruptly it appears, did much oil come out of the differential, which I think you called the exchange box maybe it’s called that in America thanks.
I have a ?? for u if u don't mind! My Element had a sliced gas tank nwas making a knocking noise on the rear n I thought it was the axles. I took it to this mechanic n he said ur diff is gone, whoever had it left it w no grease I can eliminate that noise. He replaced the gas tank n sure enough the rear noise was gone but he refused to tell me how he did it. Today, I went underneath to clean some parts of the EVAP Canister n I came to find out this crooked mechanic cut both rea axles n left it like that. I'm very upset about it n my question to you is: Is it dangerous to drive it like that w no rear axles? Thanks man!🙋
No it's not dangerous for no rear axles and the rear diff takes a special oil from honda only it's called something like daul pump ll oil I will make a video on it on Friday about it.
Oh no I bought my axles off of Amazon on the passenger side shook bad so I took the axle off and put my old one back and that's back to normal..I didn't think to take it apart
I’ve had that same issue with Subarus. Aftermarket CV axles are hit or miss. Half the time you install them and they shake really bad because they aren’t the same tolerance as OEM. Measure length and make sure they match exactly. Rebuilding is sometimes the best option since OEM axles are outrageous.
