Definitely works. Switch off wifi and data services if you have issues and try the steps over. Worked for me on Huawei P40 Pro Plus!

Still working. It does take a few tries tbh. If you get the 'df-dferh-01' error in play store then there's a few steps which I figured out that helped me. 1. Uninstall play store. 2. Turn off WiFi and Mobile Data. 3. Follow the steps in the video until you download GPS by Ross 2. After installing, clear the data via settings on all 3 apps as shown in the video. 4. Turn on WiFi/Mobile Data. Open the play store and it should hopefully open fine. Turn off auto-updates. 5. Restart your phone a follow the steps in the video from the beginning again remembering to turn your WiFi and Mobile Data off again. Good luck! 👍

Thanks so much for the tutorial and the files! I finally have access to all my stuff! I had trouble and had to redo it a few times, but i tried taking off data and wifi and it worked! Maybe the first times it auto updated google play services before i had time to disable auto updates :)

Thank you. It is working with the current latest Google Play Store 27.6.18-21... What I did was I installed the latest playstore then had multiple notification issue and google app errors ot working then applied the fix on this video.

You may notice that the Play Store updates itself, so before opening it try to download the version he has in the video from APKPure and disable wifi and data

I get an error on the first installation step. I activate airplane mode of course, and when i install 1 GPS by Ross.apk it says that installation failed and that I already have a newer version of the app. Even though I uninstalled it in the previous step. I have tried multiple times, and also restarted my device. Can you help med out? *Solved* I had to remove my Huawei Private Space, then I was able to install and do the rest of the steps. It seems to be working now. Thank you!

Doesn't work, since you posted this video, google released a new version which basically patches what you're showing here. Tested with data and WIFI off and also ON, doesn't make any difference.

I worked on my p40lite! thanks! a must do here is that if you have gboard or speech services or contacts sync by google installed those must be removed and reinstalled after with all the other apps, otherwise it will not work

@@SystemHacks I can live without Google, in fact I don't use any except Google Maps which can be replaced easily if need to. But some non Google apps such as Ring Doorbell, McDonald's, won't work properly without GPS. Thanks for your update.

Still working on 2023, did it again today on a Mate 30 Pro, back to having 0 issues, make sure you disable wifi/data, or just put the phone on Airplane mode until you're done, if it doesn't work, it should work doing it the second time.

Great. I am on EMUI 11 and for a week I have had these errors. I used googlefier to reinstall the gps and used your method and files and it works fine.To avoid messages from last week I uninstalled and reinstalled GPS with Googlefier but it didn't work. In some cases the playstore was still working but not Gmail, Maps or docs. I confirm that Gmail, Maps, docs, sheet, slides, photos, drive, find my device ... ... may interfere with google play services. You must uninstall these applications before your procedure. Once or twice my phone worked perfectly, but after a few minutes or hours, the errors came back because the playstore automatically updates Google Play Services.It works very well even with EMUI 11 and even by uninstalling and reinstalling Google with Googlefier (with errors) but then corrected by your procedure.Thanks 👏👍😃😜

That was awesome, thanks a ton for this video. worked like a charm for me at 15 February 2022. 2 days ago my GMS loaded p40 pro showed me it dose not play protect certified. Then this video helps me, thanks again. Three points for who seeks help- 1. link may not be opened in ur country (may be mediafire banned, like my country). just use some vpn and download. 2. This method works perfectly. follow step by step strictly and keep patience. After two times trying it worked for me. 3. After fixing, quickly turn off auto app update option.

TURN YOUR MOBILE DATA AND WIFI OFF BEFORE U DO THE STEPS OTHERWISE IT WONT WORK. Tried it 3 times with wifi and data on and it didn't work but turned those off on the 4th try and it worked. Also if at the end the notifications have stopped but play store won't load, then just restart your phone and it should be fine after that.

03 Dec 2023, still working. I keep reinstalling it randomly for some reason because after some time it does fail and starts giving me the errors, but since everything works and it has the latest updates I really don't mind doing this in 20 minutes or so to fix it, thanks again!

Didn't work for me after doing it twice. I've noticed that my Google Play Services keeps updating even after turning off the auto-update in the app store. I just installed the GMS 3 for now and apps are sort of working but I keep getting the error notification so do you have any tips to prevent the auto-update? If you see this, thank you! Your videos for installing firmware and using Googlefier for GMS helped me so much when I first got my phone 6 months ago.

When I was making this comment I saw one of the comments you pinned that said the exact same thing and I tried again while making sure it was off because I don't think it was off the first 2 times I tried. 2 days later and I haven't been experiencing the issue even after updating the Play store to the latest version. One more question though. Is there any way for me to add new gmail accounts without me having to repeat the whole GMS process again? I remember there was a specific step where they needed to be added but since then I've made a new gmail and would like to add it.

Kept failing until I used the same play store version that you got (ver 27.5.12-21 ), succeed in one shot (not sure if that is the root cause / just pure luck). A BIG THANK YOU! Now everything works except android auto, which requires me to update play service. (following your video, I got ver 20.21.17) I guess we have to do similar hack for all future updates now?

You can also disable find device so it will stop from updates and use older version of play store.

Hi, i successfully removed this error by following the above steps on my Huawei P40 PRO, but when i open Maps i get a notification saying "Update Google Play services. Maps won't run unless you update Google Play services." What should i do? However my Maps seem to be working for now.

On mine it just worked, make sure to turn of wifi, then redo all the steps. Once u get to the last restart, use mobile data and turn off auto updates immediately after opening playstore (before ur wifi beats you to it - this is what causes ur problem) Hope this helps..

Hi can you help me Please I have android 14 on my phone and it says your device is not compatible with this version, is there an option for android 14 to read old versions?

The fix doesn't work anymore. I've tried more and more. I've noticed play services app updated itself automatically. I have no time to disable automatic update on Play Store. Have you any ideas?

@@SystemHacks I did it. It works now. Android auto doesn't work cause it wants newer versione of GPS. How can I bypass it? Can I install an older version of Android auto?

Thanks Mate, it really work for me. Additional info is, i put in fly mode while doing all the step, i really dunno whether it help. And also very important message is to disable auto update.

If you installed latest version notifications will start popping up but you can try with slightly newer.

UPDATE: Seems like it keeps breaking up as soon as you sync your Google chrome accounts, I didn't find a work around, not on the Mate 30 Pro or my P40 pro.

@@zenommalasia543 yeah, mine worked last night on my P40 Pro exactly like the above comment. Make sure your wifi is off on that last restart and quickly disable auto updates before the playstore beats you to it. You'll be fine then👍🏽💯

Didn't work the first time on my P40 Pro but when I repeated the steps a second time, all seems to be fine. I had to reinstall Google apps via searching with browser but everything is up and running again and no notifications so far
