I am currently recovering from jaw surgery and have not felt pain once. The only downside is being on a liquid diet for a couple weeks. My side profile is much better as well as speech. These porcelain veneers don't actually fix the underbite, they just give the illusion from the front. If you actually want to avoid problems such speech impediments, jaw pain, poor posture, sleep apnea, and so much more you need surgery.

I hate it when these dentists claim they are FIXING an underbite, when they are really just giving the appearance of an underbite reduction due to increase tooth height. The underbite of an adult is set in stone unless you break bones and get it repositioned.

The best advice from a past underbite person. Just grow out your maxilla to fit your jaw. Push tongue to the top palette of your mouth. When you eat swallow always use your tongue and top palette force to swallow. It’s that easy tong placement. It fixed assymmetrical jaw, cheekbones, teeth. Etc most of all underbite. But not over bite. Over bite is too much of tongue pushing and mouth not closing

Wow. I had braces for 8 and a half years and I have always had a class III malocclusion. My underbite is very noticeable and my teeth are dreadful for me being so young. I had to have my parents drive me to the closest orthodontist, which was about an hour and a half away, every month, twice a month. My mouth was constantly sore and I was absolutely miserable all those years. When I got my braces off the first time, my retainer wasn't made well and would fall out of my mouth repeatly. The wire went under my teeth instead of over them. My teeth shifted the first two weeks of having braces off and I went back to having braces again for 6 months just to get them straight again. The second time I got them off, my teeth still shifted even with the retainer. I wanted a wire glued to the back of my teeth on top even though I had a retainer because I felt that the retainer by itself wasn't enough to keep my teeth straight. And lo and behold, it wasn't, even with dedicated wear. I've pretty much given up on my teeth and a nice smile. I live in southern Arkansas and I come from a family that can barely make ends meet half the time. I know up north, the cost of living is higher so it would be that much more money to pay for this treatment, if I could even go. People have no idea how bad it is to not feel good about yourself when you smile.

I am in Malaysia and I have overbite. Try to fix using braces but i feel discomfort as my dentist pull my upper teeth to the front and it look slanted from the side, my 2 lower teeth been pulled up so my lower jaw teeth can be fixed like normal bite. However, everytime i eat, the lower jaw teeth will overlap with the upper jaw front teeth.

Good job, Orthodontic is always in progress but I strongly disagree with this kind of ''solution''. This is the short and the fastest way to ''fix'' it but you only apparently fix it. Do not misunderstand me please, the girl in the video is absolutely gorgeus even with the underbite, but at the end I do not see that ''great'' change at all though. When you are born you have a specific type and colour hair and it's what fits better. When you have an underbite your face is different, and once you fix it your face changes too. I did the double jaw surgery 10 months ago and I can say that I Would do that again and again!!! you can see how my face changed after all, in my video. It's not painfull at all, cause there are a lot of medicines for pain. I highly recommend the surgery because solves many things both aesthetic and functional and the various pains due to malocclusion. That's just my personal opinion.

Not painful at all? You are LYING. It IS painful. I have seen how long you are on a liquid diet, how long you are unable to speak. I don't need my face to change. My face looks fine as it is and months of liquid diet would leave me hospitalized due to being too damn skinny. I'm not putting myself through this or a nasty retainer in my mouth for the rest of my life every night. No thank you.

I get bullied because of a protruding chin, I am soooo self-confident about myself. Seriously, I wish you could just fix your imperfect chins and jaws, in the hospital,(pain or not) when you're 4-6 so that you wouldn't have any bullying in your future. People say I remind them of a cresent moon, or king tut, and it makes me want to not be in contact with anyone. Its also my eyebrows that people are commenting mean things on. They say I look like the grinch if I had green skin, because i'm ugly and my eyebrows are big (naturally), and they have a arch near the end. Why can't people just get along with each other and ignore other people's flaws. It makes me question how bitchy scumbags get all the attention in school, and not told off, while the kind, people with actual talent gets picked on and being called a neek. Why does the world have to be revolved around attractiveness????????? I wish bullies aren't a thing.

I had a consultation about doing this exact thing done for my underbite, but they said that eventually, my veneers would be grinding and would crack because of the underbite, so they said it wouldn’t work. Is that true?

I doubt this would work on a severe underbite due to it being a problem with the bone structure. This camouflages the underbite but it doesn't fix it.

I am 13 and I had surgery but built in my jaw Then use elastics. But due other medical health issues. I can't drink milk. Or eat meat. So my left side bone was to thin and the builds failed where only on screw stayed tight. Now built can swings on it. Gives me alot pain. I ha e no idea what to do. This video changed my life. I showed it to three cosmetic dentists in Seattle. Two wanted to do the traditional braces and veneers. One said he can duplicate what was done on the video. He decided to do jackets rather than veneers. Turned out fabulous! I smile a lot now, am happier. Wasn’t cheap but worth it!

@jawad moqrane I actually had it done 7 years ago. No regrets. Wish I had it done sooner. Cost $1500 per tooth and had the upper front 6 done. There were some other costs so the total I recall was around $11-12k. I get it confused with all the gum grafting I had to do before hand, which was another $11-12k. All worth it! If you have yours done, don’t go for the Hollywood white, they look fake.

Wow. I know underbites are bad but I didn't people get bullied from it. I'm the only one in school who has an underbite but none of them mind it. They don't even notice it. Only my family does. I want to fix mine since it looks ugly on side view so when I searched for fixing, I saw a lot of comments that says they're getting bullied. I have 100% cured my underbite jaws with a tongue exercise all I have to do is push my teeth back on the bottom row. My teeth used to be 1/4 cm lower jaw jutting out. But then I realized it’s not that my jaw is too big my maxilla might be too small!!?? So I just kept pushing my tongue to the ceiling of my palette everyday for 1 month and now my bottom and lower teeth are in normal form postition. exact same position no matter what I do jut my jaw out again it pops right by into the alignment. I’m so happy sometimes you need to grow out your maxilla so it can hold your lower jaw. 1. Keep mouth closed Teeth touching Even if your teeth is underbite teeth must touch Don’t have to clinch your jaws but have a little pressure 2. Put your tongue to the top of your mouth palette. Get used to it bc you will be doing this for the rest of your life. Correct every normal or over bite person has their tong resting against the top part of the mouth. Overbite is caused when you never let your teeth touch each other. Underbite is when you don’t rest your tongue. Most people with underbite actually have amazing jaws they just need to pull their maxilla out too.

It is definitely dependent on the extent of your under bite. I've been the victim of dental and orthodontic professionals who tried nothing more than to camouflage my underlying jaw malformation. Soon I'll be undergoing orthognathic surgery to correct my class III. Some people may get results from this procedure you're advertising but I would say it masks the problem as opposed to correcting it.

Some people might find this ridiculous, crying over having an underbite teeth but looking people have a beautiful smile makes me so insecure. I got bullied because of this and Im so afraid that after my braces will be gone, my teeth might go back to being an underbite.

Wtf are porcelain veneers??? What's the mechanism that fixes the underbite???

Porcelain veneer is kinda like a crown for the front teeth. It doesn't fix the bite. The thickness of the veneer pop out on the upper front teeth makes the lower teeth less prominent. More cosmetic rather than fixing under bite.

Bruh one side of my mouth wont even close I can literally stick my tongue through my teeth when my mouth closed and I have a freaking lisp and I think my underbite aint helping it get better 😂

I hope so i can have this procedure also to correct my malocclusion teeth There is no one dentist here allowing my malocclusion to undergo for veneers,cause their reason is my veneers will just wasted after a few months because my cross bite is not good 😭😭😭

to all who are thinking of doing this please dont . underbite is caused my skeletal unbalances and if you put veneers on an unbalanced jaw it can really fuck your facial asthetics

My fave is absolutely fine but my underbite teeth makes my face and mouth very ugly I don't want to do surgery too if have anything tht can do without surgery then please share it to me

Aww dude I can't help financially at all. I heard there are a few free dental braces but i dont want to give you false hopes. But in my experience, I've outgrown emotionally painful stuff esp when I entered college where nobody cared. Or probably a few but we all just laugh it off. I hope you find something. I kinda know what you went through 🙋 Just keep on being yourself. bet you tough 👊
