It works!! I have this issue for one month already. After watching this video, apparently there is one step I have not done i.e. reset whatsapp notification setting then shut down my iphone. The issue is solved right after turning on the phone. Thank you so much 🙏🙏
Evan after doing all these I am not receiving notifications. Its being delayed for about 5-10mins sometimes I may get notifications the very moment I receive the text. I am not receiving call notifications also.

Terry Davis Bro, Make sure you are your WhatsApp and iPhone is up to date. Also restart WhatsApp notification settings and turn on Background App Refresh. It should fix the issue. 😊

My wife’s iPhoneXR did the same. We checked all the settings, everything fine. We then deleted WhatsApp altogether and re-installed, and the problem was solved.
@@drazumi7391 but that won’t uninstall app or anything, if you want chats back just go to setting>chats>backup and you can backup you chats in iCloud...hope that helps
even if I go to what’sapp notifications it’s telling me go on settings➡️notifications and ➡️turn on WhatsApp notifications in the list but sadly WhatsApp is not there in notifications list, any idea how do you fix this??

I am new iphone users and what I really don’t like is you will never know if you have a missing text if you don’t touch your phone because there is no light indicator. As my huawei phone that I am using before there is a light indicator and it is always pop up until you opened the conversation, and the most beautiful things is you can know where is the notifications comes from just by looking at the indicator colors, I set it to green for facebook messenger , white colour for whatsapp, blue for telegram.. and many more so you can guess which one you are getting the chats from
I don’t see WhatsApp on my notifications settings, and when I go to WhatsApp on the top of Notifications it says “WARNING: Push notifications are off” and it gives me instructions but I cannot find it and I don’t see the button that sends me to iPhone settings
@@leon3798 Oh man! That sucks.. I am doing the same, but I have backups - so restoring from that, and it works now - just got to make sure that when relaunching WhatsApp we have to select "Allow Notifications"

my WhatsApp notification does not appear on the lock screen, it only turn my screen on but does not show the messages, so I would have to unlock my phone first in order to see the message. it also happens to the notification banner when the screen is unlocked, so I'd have to open the notification bar to see the messages. can someone help please?
