Spent 2 hours trying to fix this and could not fix it. I undid what was done in the video and nothing works. It is also a Saturday so I have to wait until Monday to call tech support. It's not working and it will block your computer, you will not be able to acces your files. If you don't know how to fix a computer you shouldn't open regedit. Speak to a computer expert first

Plis report this video for misinformation. Doing step 1 bricked my computer. Couldn't logg in. Couldn't open task manager to try and redo the option. So if you didn't read the comments before doing step one (like me). Im sorry. What I did was to turn off my pc mid boot a few times to force the pc in to a repair state where I clicked advenced settings and restored the pc as it was a few days ago... Hope this helps and I pray that this video gets removed so it wont happen to anyone else.

Expand the entry Sound, Video and Game Controllers Right-click the problematic device it is either Realtek Audio, or AMD High definition Audio or High Definition Audio this varies on the audio device installed in your PC and select Uninstall device. Step 4. You need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button. Step 5. Reboot the computer. After the reboot please see it the problem is fixed. If that still would not work please visit the support website of your laptop or desktop and then download and install the latest Audio driver then restart the PC
