You should insert plug-in after the limiter and gain down the output.

IMHO I see one problem in this measuring. Since you are in the seat usually, you should measure the space INCLUDING you. The person in front of the speakers belongs to the room as well. It swallows reflections which might affect the result.

Hi, I was just wondering, I'm also a cubase 9.0 user. Can I insert the plugin to the control room mixer? It has about 8 inserts that will not effect the mixdown. By doing this I don't have to use the master buss insert and bypass the plugin during mixdown.

That is 100% correct, drop the plugin into the first insert of Cubase's control room and it will give you the room correction you need without physically affecting the outcome of your final MixDown. This however is only the case in Cubase (that I am aware of) ProTools, Studio One, Ableton etc all require the ARC correction plug-in to be inserted on your DAW master bus. In this case simply remember to remove it from your master buss before exporting your final MixDown.

MiTech Direct thank you so much, I've started to use it. It's truly amazing.

Reaper has the monitoring fx feature, does the same as cubase.

MiTech Direct just a quick question, my audio interface is set to 48khz, do I have to change it to 441khz to do the calibration and then set it back to 48khz? Cuz for sonarworks it has to be calibrated in 441khz.
