Is it possible to EDC a fixed blade in everyday life? Yes it is, in fact I have been doing so for a long time now with this knife. Most fixed blades are far too big and bulky to EDC without causing public alarm, but if you are looking into it or are intrigued by the idea, this is the knife for you.

Good review. I like the knife and the sheath even if it is a bit oversized. The issue I have if finding a way to quickly deploy the knife when the sheath is positioned on my belt.

I have this knife. Love it. Carry it everyday. It does rattle in the sheath, but it's easily remedied if you wrap the handle in paracord (and seriously, who wouldn't?).

+Doombuggy53 Yeah for sure, it's a sick Fixed Blade EDC. I'm not a huge fan of just how large the sheath is volumetrically compared to the knife, though. Have you seen the Schrade SCHF15? That's what I use now for my fixed blade EDC, and I like it a bit more. Same blade size, but smaller sheath, and the blade clicks in so you don't have to deal with a strap, you just draw it. And it's about the same price ($20-$30 range) and uses similar steel, except this one has G10 handles. It's a pretty sick deal. I have the same knife but black and I love it. I love Buck Knives and the 141 is my edc. I also have a 124 from Buck.

Another great review! Oh hey I was wondering if you might ever do a video on how to properly care for blades such as sharpening / oiling?

Hey there Mariah! I might do such a video in the future, however there are other videos that are higher priorities (a review on the Kabar Marine Combat fixed blade, and a little further out, a video discussing the facets of blade theory and design). I do have one video up that might be pretty close to what you're looking for, so I'll link it in this comment. The first six minutes discuss de-rusting a blade (different from oiling; oiling is taking preventative measures, whereas de-rusting implies it already happened) and the rest of the video discusses the sharpening of the blade, from bare steel to a razor edge. Of course, this video is referring to that specific sword, not all blades in general, so I might do one in the future on how to oil preventatively and how to sharpen without a grinder. But to hold you over until I make that video, here is the one I was talking about: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_XQY2yLcDGk.html Thanks for the comment!

icemanreed =) Sounds great to me! I'm looking forward to that review, actually have one that I inherited in a chest but it's in bad shape its part of the request to see if maybe I can save it. Great thanks for the link!

Yeah that review should be up within the next 2-3 months, hopefully. I try not to let the gap between videos be too long :P Also, I do professional knife sharpening and light rust removal, so if you're interested, message me!
