I have my trans out right now and my engine looks exactly like yours even the valve cover color. I have been debating how to do this as I have pulled all the other smog stuff of my 86 460 but didn't know what to do with this crossover pipe. This is the ticket! Doing it this weekend. Thank you much!
I am swapping to headers instead of manifolds for simplicity and power. If I were to plug an exhaust manifold, I would heat the cast iron and then weld them closed.
