The NYC ambience has always been music to my ears. The peaceful delivery on a fixed is dope to get an experience of. I ride fixed but my home area isn’t the best place for it. Seems pretty cool in NYC. Thanks
One aspect of the United States that I find challenging is the generally high noise level in restaurants, bars, and pubs. I live in Vienna, and dining out in my hometown is quite a different experience. When going on a date, it's almost as if we have to raise our voices to have a conversation, and I struggle to comprehend why that's necessary. When I travel abroad, it's often easy for me to identify Americans solely by their volume when speaking. Interestingly, many of them seem to adapt to European standards of quieter dining when they spend some time here. Please don't misunderstand me; I genuinely appreciate the warm and friendly nature of Americans. I haven't had the opportunity to dine in some of the more upscale restaurants in the USA, which I understand can offer a more tranquil atmosphere. At times, I yearn for company in a more relaxing setting, but it appears that this privilege is often reserved for wealthier Americans.
@@Sebastian_Koenig_ You're telling me London or Amsterdam are quiet? Its like any big cities, the reason you think Americans are loud is probably because you only travel to large cities mostly due to the popularity. Plenty of small quaint cities in any country, but they are mostly left untouched by tourists. Also as a tourist you are probably in the busiest parts of the cities as that is where tourists dwell, which by nature is gonna loud.
NYC and the word "peaceful" never ever, ever, never never never never correlates. Never, I repeat, never I used to live there, it's a place of anxiety, fear, deceit, toxicity, distrust, traitory, feminism, hatred, liberal Again, it never ever ever ever is peaceful. How dare you? Please, apologize this instant. NYC and peaceful..... Never!
Dude... I love your content !... keep putting up the vids... its amazing to look into your life and see how you do this.. thanks again for sharing with us !
Hey. Awesome to see a new vid!! Btw can you tell us what bag you are using? It looks so good! Love the new hd camera btw.. so crisp. I haven’t been back in a while haha. Take care ❤
I like your video. cool how you ride fixed and no brakes. I am getting a fixed gear bike in a few days but IM going to using the free wheel hub side. Mine will have front and rear brakes. Also got a Fat Gel Seat for it. Going to put some nice tall BMX Bars on my fixie bike or i mean free wheel bike with brakes.
Hey man I was watching a video from last year when you switched from gig deliveries to starting a new job for a company as a bike courier. Do you still do that or did you switch back to gigs on Uber Eats permanently? If so, what made you go back? Thanks! (I've been enjoying the videos btw)
Quad Lock. Get a Quad Lock case for your phone and then the mount for the bike. It’s not even a half second to get it on and off. There are similar locking type mounts and cases and knock offs, but Quad Lock is the beast.
@@mybigdebuttnothing is needed. The case has the slots for it for the phone and it rotates a quarter turn on the mount and locks on. The mount has a little paddle you press down and then you rotate the phone a quarter back and lift it off. There are many different mounts for motorcycles, bikes, cars, desks etc. You don’t even need the phone case they sell a stick on portion you can stick onto your phone or a slick case and use it with the mounts. Search RU-vid for “quad lock phone” and you can see what I am talking about.
Great stuff bud, I ride one myself when doing UberEats but I don't use the fixed gear even though it is possible to switch. By the way, what are your trip filters? Do you set the mileage to 1.5-2.0?
I also do Uber Eats with Fixed Gear in Canada. I think it's definitely cooler and better than using an Uber bag. But what if you receive a large order?
there are no couriers here where i live in South Florida, im so curious, what happens when the order is too big or if they ordered drinks and it wont fit in the bag?
Typically snugged between your belt and your shorts/pants. The wider portion of the lock (receiving end) keeps the lock from slipping since it is held by the belt.
@JoseLopez-xv4fc I still have the front break on mine.. once I get much better at stopping without breaks. I'll remove the front break. Maybe in a month or so. After that I'll be riding just like this lol Try it out
Just got my fixed gear yesterday really excited rode for a couple hours, now my butt hurt so bad. It's been 10+ years since i was last ride a bike. Is there any way to prevent my butt from hurting or my butt will used to it?
Same here, got my fixed gear today. Ass and balls were not comfortable.. found out the saddle I have sucks. Going to get my tailbone measured and find a better saddle
@@Yuko_fps fuck yeah I'm riding with brakes. Lmfaoo. I don't want to bust my ass trying to look cool.. fuck that.. I'm using a front break until I am so comfortable with the bike and stoping whenever I want. Only then will I think of removing the front break
Usually one ends up getting used to it, that's how it happened to me when I got back ride bike, the first few days my butt hurt, but eventually it will pass.
That eBike pusher got a little spicy at 1:55 because he's in a rush, but then can't figure out how to carve up an intersection at 2:17 while you just casually roll through.
Unfortuntely, The work day of a delivery biker is not as uneventful as this video might suggest. The Parts of The video that were edited out may paint a truer picture.
Капец медленно, посмотри как в России на доставке на фиксе работают) У тебя же фикс под жопой, где скорость?) Но за видео респект, красивый город, красивая атмосфера) Удачи, дружище!
Fixie refers to any bike that has a fixed back wheel (you can't coast). Track bikes refer to bikes used for well, tracks (velodrome). Track bikes are usually fixies as far as I'm aware
track bikes are specifically for racing, so higher grade materials and parts. afaik track bikes got no auxilliary brakes as on a race track you dont need to brake, while normal day fixies sometimes do, also fixies are more casual, f.ex more comfortable upright geometry for long rides and less stiffness in the frame for any bumps (?)
Track bikes means they belong and pass track rules (drop bars, high bottom bracket, no coast, etc). “Fixie” is a word that mostly beginners use to say “fixed”. So all track bikes are “fixies” (fixed) but not all fixies are track bikes.
He rides a fixed gear bike, they have no free hub so they can’t coast. The wheel and the pedals always spin together. If he wants to brake, he has to slow down/stop pedaling! Google is your friend by the way
Mounts are for people who don’t know the city very well and need to look at their gps constantly. Most couriers just use a phone pouch and just know how to get there from memory or listen to the gps give directions. It’s honestly safer this way because you’re not looking at your phone and can focus on the road.
I feel like a total NPC after doing this all day and watching his vídeos were he is doing the same thing, the difference is that I live on a 3rd world hell hole and here it is more miserable and fun AKA dangerous 💀
