Thanks for the update, glad you got it figured out. You managed to get less movement in the slide catch than I did - I might have to look at mine again.
I have the same issue and it’s pretty bad I noticed pulling the trigger upside down instantly locks the slide back so with firing upside down that lock up would happen and also when holding the slide lock down and pulling the trigger you can feel the friction. Mind you I haven’t fired the firearm yet neither do I want to wait until there’s enough friction for that not to happen. I would like to see a video if you can showing the process of taking apart everything to adjust that locking slide mechanism so there is no friction with the trigger mechanism
I got one of the good ones that didn't have the slide lock issue. The slide stop would slightly move upward when firing but never causes any issues. I swapped out the trigger for an Apex and the slide stop doesn't move at all just FYI.
