I repair the bent hood and broken plastic grill on my free Craftsman riding lawn mower. Using scrap metal, a welder, and a little body work I get the hood working again.
Looks as good, if not better than my LT1000. Yours has better airflow than mine though... haha I did think you were gonna connect the tongs in the configuration somehow for strength. But what you did seems better anyway, right?!!
