Fixing a dry highlighter lifehack 

tried this and watched my highlighters go from barely working to not working at all

I know many people are saying it works, and many people are not, but... Yeah, for me it worked properly, trust me, just open the cap and take 3-4 drops on ur hand and put it on the tip, close the tap, wait for 15 seconds and u have ur highlighter back to life. Thank you so much this video!

Worked beautifully for my highlighter!! For those who it didn't work for, you're probably supposed to use rubbing alcohol instead of water! Depends on the elements ;)

works perfectly well, don't completely soak it just put 4 or 5 drops on it and leave to soak in

Dip the tip in 3-4 drops for 5-6 seconds and then close the cap, use it after a minute, it works fine . ✌🏻

It worked so perfect for me! I just take my highlighters and a lil drop of water and jusy dipped the tip for 3 seconds, cuz when i diped it for 5 seconds, it just gone like the ink gone but no worries just dip less and put the top of highlighters and wait for some minutes! It works and tysm for this 😊❤️

This works 100% Just dip ur highlighter tip into water for a few seconds (10 seconds maximum) and then ur highlighter is as good as new!

Just dip the tip of your highlighter in small amount of nail polish remover and close the cap and let it rest for a few minutes. It works you all.

If anyone's still watching this, use rubbing alcohol. It will at least work, unlike this.

Tried this on my highlighter and it went from not working at all to working for the most part. Wasn’t a complete fix and I will need to toss it soon but it works for now!

i have pastel stabilo boss highlighters and this totally ruined them :((( im glad it works for some people but for me it made a somewhat working highlighter completely not work...

i think this only works with water-based highlighters. I've tried this trick on certain highlighter brands and it only worsens them. But sometimes it works on other brands.

It did not work on my 2 highlighters now almost nothing came out :( Edit: It works now, just rests it for a couple of minutes, though when I thought it did not work I stopped using it, after 14 hrs I tried in case, and baam works well. Don't wait for 14 hrs 😂

In the province no highlighters. What i do is open the stabilo boss and rotate the ink. It works. The alcohol also works. Just few drops. K 💚🥰💙🌙🎸🎶 xD

bro are u serious it went from almost fully working to barely working at all. what you *can* do is just leave the highlighter closed for a month or 2. i thought i closed my highlighter correctly (but i didn't), and my highlighter stopped working almost completely. i left it closed for 3 or 4 weeks and opened it today. it was working a lot better! but not fully. i tried this and now my highlighter barely works. im gonna leave my highlighter closed for 2 months and hopefully itll revive again. don't believe this tutorial

I wouldn’t recommend anyone try this unless they have a spare highlighter on hand. I tried it and my highlighter is ruined. It was working fine before. Good thing I have 3 more.
