Was it difficult to turn ? What other symptoms?

Still turned and operated fine just leaking a lot of fluid up the steering shaft and out under the steering wheel

My L4400 is tough to turn… I jumped the gun and replaced the pump, and on the HST it is a combined power steering and Hydro pump together at 12 years. I don’t figure I can go bad or wrong. Did not correct the problem I’m looking at rebuilding the cylinder upfront next since I don’t have a workshop manual to test anything else with. I have ordered one, but it’s not here yet, I may just wait till it gets here and then test for the problem I’m having

@dr2casto If you already replaced the pump and that didn’t fix it it might be the steering control box but without looking at the tractor it’s tough to give you a good direction to go!
