Fixing a Squeaking and Noisy Ceiling Fan

Thanks for uploading this video, the silicon spray worked like magic: no more squeaking.

Usually I can fix mine by simply cleaning the fan really well. I’ve noticed if dust accumulates on top of the blades at all, it seems to make them wobble just slightly enough to cause a grinding/squeaking. Same thing if dust accumulates in the area where the blades attach. Basically… dust in general lol. Cleaning that often entirely silences the ceiling fan.

Seems three levels of fixing with this oil/clean swival easiest. Second, mostly for clicking is tighten every screw. Last, take down and oil bearings. For me easiest did it. Praise Yah!
