Old wiring is much fun, butts, spades, mysterious bundles of tape and two ignition boxes to keep you on your toes! By the way, the intake seems to say C5AE-9425-C, which corresponds to 1965, date code says 4M8 which is December 8th of 1964. Somebody swapped a 4bbl intake on that thing, certified hotrod!

I really miss having all those guages on the dash. Now, of course, it's all "tell tale" lights....or "idiot lights" as we know them more commonly. Back then, you could watch something fail gradually, and that was helpful because you could see a problem and fix it before it broke down completely. Nowadays, the light only comes on after it's too late to fix it yourself. 😅 Not that you could anyway, considering all the fancy computers running cars now. Plus, "gauge gazing" gave you something to do while you were driving....lol. Thanks for sharing! Very informative! 👍
