fixing an airlock after a mains water outage 

Thank you so much! I fitted a new kitchen in a spare flat a few months ago and have had no hot water ever since... Been looking for a valve or a tap I may have switched off before the renovation to no avail until I came across your video. The glove trick worked a treat! It took about 10mn between cutting the fingers off and the hot water flowing again! Sooo grateful!

Thank you have just cleared an airlock that had for 4 days, no water coming to bathroom taps, tried several other options and this worked in less than 20 mins. Simple and easy to do.

Nice tip with the glove.Worth mentioning that if a non return valve is fitted under the sink that won't work.

Do you move all the way over to cold or do you keep it on the hot side and move it partly towards cold? eg- move it 30 degrees a or move it 80 degrees?

What if no water is coming out can you still preform this ?
