@tomrichards6207 It could help when you take it off, I’m assuming….. It will definitely help if you forget to put it back on deflated when adding the air. I ended up having to disconnect the brake anyway. Because I did not do what your suggestion. It’s been 30+ years since I had to fix a bike. My Memories are not what they use to be.I would add to this correct suggestion by saying…When fixing on anything, go look it up and watch a RU-vid video that would help you to do things the right way. Appreciation 🙂
It's great that you're getting out on a bike again! I didn't get my first bike until I was 7, thanks to the generosity of a neighbor. Fell in love immediately. Shortly after bought my first BMX bike. Then got into road bikes. Walking past a local bike shop in 1985 and saw a bike that changed my life...a mountain bike! Been mountain biking ever since. Self taught bike mechanic. I've built my own wheels and have built numerous bikes from the frame up for myself and quite a few friends over the years. I'll be 55 soon and still mountain biking. Congratulations on your new bike. Sweet deal!!! Keep on riding.
@@tomrichards6207 Thank You Tom! Awesome experience’s you’ve had, and continue to have. I’ve always admired that type of biking. Very athletic style of riding, you’re definitely going to be in shape with that sport. Thank You for sharing!
