Just found the same problem with a Cube AMS with an internal permanent battery; however, as of July 2024 the Flow app did allow me to run a firmware update without removing the main battery and all is now working! Thanks.
You sir are an absolute legend. I thought I had just wasted £450 my cube was coming up with this very error. Even though I was sure it was compatible and it was as soon as the software was updated. The only extra thing I had to do was reinstall flow as at first it was not seeing the update that was needed. Thank you so much.
@DizzaStaffy Madness that they shipped a lot of these with incompatible software. It would have least helped if the error said incompatible software version to at least give everyone a starting point. Thank you again for this video it helped me sort the problem.
